Wonderful!

We had a wonderful tour with Sude! She was extremely knowledge and showed us the main sights which were all very impressive. She met us at our cruise ship and dropped us off there. Great Guide and Great Experience

Our group had a wonderful time with Şule tonight. I am quite familiar with Turkish food, but Istanbul is such a big city that you would not know where to start to get really authentic food that is not just for tourists. We started with a cig kofte tasting at a popular stand — the flavors were amazing. Then we walked to a lokman store and tasted specialty “Turkish delights”. Then, we we went in a van to have tea on a rooftop overlooking Suleymaniye mosque and the Bosphorus. We ended our evening with a multi-course meal of mezze, different kebabs and kunefeh and of course, tea. The restaurant also made a special meal for the vegetarian in our group. I highly recommend the tour because it takes you to places that are out of the way of the usual tourist spots. The view of the city from the rooftop gives you a perspective of the European and Asian sides of the city. Şule took the time to explain the food we were eating and answered other questions about Turkish culture. She truly enjoys being a guide.

Epic experience

It is difficult to summarize this experience in a few sentences. My wife and I have traveled extensively but Istanbul is now one of our top favorite places! Our tour guide Savaş was everything you would want in a tour guide: deeply knowledgeable of both the extensive history of the area as well as the modern city life, easy to understand, customized the tour to our needs, and shared insights we could not get elsewhere. By the end of the day with Savaş we felt like we were spending the day with a friend. This was an experience we will always remember and talk about - Turkey is a beautiful country, Istanbul is an awe inspiring city, and Savaş brought it all together. We are already planning on coming back with our adult kids and of course, spending another day with Savaş!

Best Day in Istanbul

Our guide Kerim met us this morning. He started off a stranger but we left as friends. He took us to all the major sights and the Blue Mosque moved me to tears it was so beautiful. Kerim was very knowledgeable and gave us the history as we went along. We had a coffee stop and a lovely lunch. It was the best experience. More Than a Tour, A Truly Personal Experience

This tour ended up being just me, and it turned into one of the most meaningful experiences of my trip. Lale was absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable, warm, and incredibly attentive. Beyond the historical and cultural depth she brought to Istanbul’s landmarks, she was immensely helpful as a solo traveler. She generously shared practical tips on language, customs, transportation, and what and where to eat, all in a way that felt thoughtful and personal rather than scripted. The pacing was relaxed, the conversation engaging, and the experience felt more like being shown the city by a trusted local friend than taking a formal tour. Moving experience

A comprehensive narrative and viewing of various different sites of landing and combat taken by the ANZACs during 1915. The tour takes in the monuments to the Turkish forces and provides insight into the difficulties endured by both sides during the fighting. Our guide was highly educated and provided in depth information about the number of men and women who ultimately died trying to execute a military attack that was poorly planned and even more poorly executed. The tour underscores the friendship between the ANZACs and the Turkish people while also again highlighting the futility of war. Beyond all this the Gallipoli peninsula is a really beautiful area and the views from the hills are spectacular.

A Fabulous Tour of Fener, Balat and other Areas off the beaten Track

This was a fabulous tour of some of the less-travelled areas of Istanbul (Fener and Balat) as well as the spice market and portions of the Grand Bazaar. We were the only people on the tour so our guide, Mohammed was able to make a few modifications to accommodate my wife who uses a car. He was very knowledgeable about the history of this area of the city, the peoples who once lived there and the architecture. The tour also included the Greek Orthodox Cathedral, the spice market and areas around the Grand Bazaar. I would highly recommend this tour
