A must try experience
This was absolutely incredible. The manta-rays were unbelievably majestic. The entire experience was amazing. The crew were friendly and kept you informed throughout the entire process. This will be an unforgettable adventure. Recommend to anyone who travels to Kailua-Kona, Hawaii.

Amazing time, and fantastic value for money!
We had a great time with the glass bottom boat cruise! I wasn't expecting to receive such a detailed guided tour of the area! We learned about the vintage hotels of Waikiki, how the man made beach was filled with sand, where to find turtles, spinner dolphins, and other animals. Great opportunity for photos, but remember to bring something for motion sickness!

Great experience with...
Great experience with this tour! My sister and I had a memorable time. The driver was on time and the journey was quick. You can only bring clear bags for the memorial and plain water. The water was really helpful. If you’re staying at Waikiki and don’t have a car, this is an easy option. However, it doesn’t include tickets to other destinations like the aviation museum, submarine museum, and Missouri memorial. If you’re planning to visit all of them, you might want to look into other options. Overall, it’s a great choice!

Seeing the sea turtles...
Seeing the sea turtles while snorkeling was honestly unforgettable. They moved through the ocean so gracefully and peacefully, and watching them glide through the water up close felt incredibly calming and magical. The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff were also incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive — they made everyone feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed throughout the trip. You could really tell they cared about giving people the best possible experience. I would definitely recommend this snorkeling tour to anyone visiting Hawaii!

Great that we got there...
Great that we got there as it opened as it gets crowded as the day goes on. Being able to snorkel without as many people in the water was better than later.
Our shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful. Had additional fins handy as one of our party needed to swap out for a smaller size.
Tip: bring your own water bottles as the goft shop charges over $6

Best Kealakekua Bay Snorkel Day Trip
What a great snorkel cruise. Simon was a great and very humorous boat captain. He provided very insightful historical perspectives as well as up to date marine info regarding dolphins, turtles, monk seals and fishes. He did a great job making everyone on the boat feel safe, relaxed and happy. The boat itself was terrific and their snorkel equipment was a good as it comes. All in all a great value and a definite must do to see the real Kona.

Great experience! Even...
Great experience! Even though we were not able to snorkel in the Crater due to choppy waters, our Capt (Estabam) and deckhands, Sydney and Dani, made the best of it and took us to two other great destinations! We saw sea turtles, lots of amazing coral and fish-- great day!

Must do activity in Kona
The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and funny. We had Koa as our captain, Tako for our in water support and Kekai as our lifeguard. The woman who helped us get signed in was also wonderful but we didn’t get her name.
Overall it’s a great experience and was actually very easy / comfortable. Recommend going later in the evening as theres less tours out allowing for more manta time!

We had a great day out on...
We had a great day out on our tour.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided a wonderful experience throughout the day.
We saw a sea turtle up on the beach which was just amazing!
The 'life guard' staff who helped us with the snorkeling aspect was also amazing. I am not a confident swimmer and was very anxious to go in the water. He took me aside and helped me calm myself and spent some one on one time with me to ensure I was able to enjoy the experience and see some coral and fish. By the end I was confident and snorkelling off by myself. He was really lovely and I am very grateful for his help.
It was a great little day tour. Couldn't spend too long at each stop but it gave a good look into the different parts of the island and was a very enjoyable day. Would definitely recommend :)

Wonderful!
Absolutely wonderful! The boat was beautiful, and we saw fish, sea turtles, and we even got lucky when a group of dolphins swam along with our boat for a solid ten minutes. However, what really made the excursion so fun was the crew. Our captain was so knowledgeable, and I loved that we had a female captain 💪🏽 Jandy and Jaelyn took great care of us. Shout out to Little Dog, the sweet pup who acted as co-captain. Thank you, pink sails!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Some of Hawaii’s most beautiful natural features lie below sea level, and these snorkeling tours let you see the best of it while eliminating the guesswork of which spots are best and how to reach them. Guided experiences transport you to premier Hawaii snorkeling locations around the islands, from protected bays with tropical fish to sea turtle hot spots and coral gardens. Tours typically include equipment, safety instructions, and marine life identification, and many excursions combine snorkeling with activities like sailing and dolphin watching. Some tours take you out on a boat, others snorkel from land, and some provide underwater cameras or photographers.
