This tour to Linderhof Palace and Neuschwanstein Castle was absolutely worth it. The landscapes during the drive alone make the trip worthwhile, the scenery is stunning from start to finish. The palace and castle themselves are incredible, and the views are amazing. Monica was also very knowledgeable and engaging, sharing interesting information in a way that was easy and enjoyable to listen to. I really enjoyed listening to her and she really added to the overall experience.

Wonderful tour

Christine and Mentor were amazing!! Christine was very knowledgeable, kind, and offered great food recs when getting to the town before going up to Neuschwanstein castle! Such a cool tour getting to see Linderhof Palace first and then heading to Neuschwanstein after! Even though the weather was quite foggy, it didn’t stop this tour from being amazing. Mentor also was great and got us there smoothly. Bus was clean and comfortable. Would so recommend this all day tour!

I highly recommend the private tour of the Neuschwanstein and Linderhof palaces. We were picked up on time and driven in warm comfort with an informative guide in Martin. Getting into the palaces was easy and Martin gave us plenty of time at each location for the tours and taking photos. He also took some fabulous photos for us. We would definitely do this tour again.

Great bus driver & tour guide!

The coach was very clean and the driver, Bashtin was excellent. Maria the tour guide provided very interesting commentary all along the drive. Both castles were wonderful and we had plenty of time. There is a lot of walking on this tour [19000 steps for the tour!) And many many stairs, this could be difficult for some.

Maria and Bashkin were excellent guides who provided nteresting facts of the region and the castles. Maria orovided very clear instructions on where to go and what to do once we arrived. The bus was very clean witth windows great for taking photots on the way. Note: there is an added cost to tour the castle interior and you can pay on the bus. Bring cash as local restaurants and gift shops do not accept credit card payments

It was a cool and cloudy...

It was a cool and cloudy day with thick, low fog so we didn’t get the viewing experience we hoped for but the tour was still a good way to spend the day. I wish there was a bit more time in each location and that the guide (who was very nice but seems nervous/new) had provided more information about Ludwig and overall Bavarian history. The coach was clean, comfortable, and the amenities were nice.

Our tour guide Cancel was so helpful, friendly, and informative. She shared a lot of history in the bus ride, gave useful tips to maximize our experience at the castles, and was very attentive to our needs. Snacks and beverages were abundant on the bus portion of the day, and the bus was comfortable, clean, and elevated compared to other bus tours I’ve done. We had plenty of time at each castle, and time to briefly explore Obergammerau between castle trips. Worth the money IMO.

Informative and Comfortable

Our guide, Jacqueline, was very knowledgeable and provided excellent logistical, historical, and cultural information throughout the trip. Jordan, our driver, made sure we got to where we needed to be on time and safely, even taking a detour to avoid a road closure due to an accident. The coach was comfortable with a coffee machine, snacks, and other drinks. It was a very nice way to see the sights!

A magical day!

What an incredible day! First, Stefan meets you with a warm and welcoming smile and spirit. He’s knowledgeable and so friendly, we stopped a few places along the way, including an incredible old church in a small village that was beautiful. The castle is incredible, his recommendation for lunch was a nice spot, and the palace is beautiful with gardens and fountains. Each one is in a unique and beautiful setting. The day was long, but certainly worth it!
