Fantastic day trip from Prague!

We had a fantastic day visiting the Karlštejn Castle and Koněpruské Caves. Martin was a fantastic tour guide! Great personality and very knowledgeable about the history of the castle and caves. We were in a small group with just 4 people, so it felt like a private tour. Highly recommend!

So worth it

SO WORTH IT! Such an amazing guide and you really get your moneys worth with this tour- a thorough tour of the Roman emperor's castle that includes a lot of history on Prague followed by a lovely lunch then a cave tour. Be prepared for a lot of walking.

Amazing Day Trip!!!

Highly recommend booking this trip . Our guide Adam picked us up from our hotel and took us on a wonderful adventure through Czech countryside. You will get to experience history, nature, and local cuisine all in one day!!! The castle and surroundings are breathtaking. The tour through the caves was absolutely amazing. The lunch at the local restaurant was excellent as well. Thank you Adam for making this day unforgettable.

Great time!

Great tour. Our guide was amazing. Very considerate to make sure everyone made it aboard. So incredibly knowledgeable, worldly and fun. The castle wasn’t as impressive as I thought it would be inside. The castle guide, different that our tour guide, was so soft spoken and talked so fast, made the castle tour itself less effective, with all of the echo in the rooms.

Amazing Day Trip in Prague, 10/10

What a great way to see a historic medieval castle and to see some stunning caves! This day trip was a great time, and our guide Adam made it so much better! He was super knowledable about the history of Czechia, and taught us so much knowledge in the caves. The lunch at a local restaurant was really great as well where we got to enjoy some local cuisine. Will be recommending this day trip to anyone i know going to Prague.

Natural Beauty

This was a fun day trip. The castle was lovely to visit but much of what is inside is replica of the original. The caves on the other hand were marvelous and fascinating. That alone made the trip worth it with the wonderful guidance from our tour guide Jospeh. He was very charismatic and full of knowledge about many aspects of Czech history.

Amazing tour guide

This was an amazing tour! Our tour guide was one of the best guides we’ve ever had. So informative and a lot of fun. Really got to get into the nitty-gritty of the history and the tour was full of information regarding a places we visited. Highly recommend this tour and our tour guide in particular.

Know before you go

Wear sturdy shoes and warm clothes to visit the cool underground caves.
Visitors can only access the caves with an official guided tour and must stay on the marked route. The tour lasts about an hour.
The cave tour is unsuitable for children under 3, and strollers are not allowed inside the cave.
Due to several staircases and rough terrain, Koněprusy Caves are not accessible to wheelchairs.
