From Chania, we head eastwards to start our day tour of the Akrotiri peninsula. Our first stop is the small, secluded, sandy beach of Macherida. The beach is named after the wild gladioli (Gladiolus italicus) that grow in the fields behind the beach during the spring. We then continue towards the sandy, protected beach of Stavros, well-known from the film “Zorba the Greek”. After a swim (and maybe a dance?) we jump onboard and circle the north side of the headland stopping at the narrow creek of Katholiko, at the mouth of the narrow and impressive gorge.. the deep blue sea invites us to cool off! Next up, is Seitan Limani beach, where we enjoy the crystal, turquoise waters from our boat, away from the crowds. Not far away, we come to Marathi island and beach, a wonderful place to stop for lunch. In the afternoon, we make our way back to the old harbour of Chania, if we´re lucky, we might see turtles!

A simply exceptional experience, which will undoubtedly remain one of our best vacation memories in Crete! We spent a magical time aboard the sailboat, with magnificent landscapes, a great atmosphere, and a stop near a small heavenly beach where we were able to enjoy a superb swim. But what really made this excursion unforgettable were Petros and Redi! Two absolutely wonderful people, incredibly kind, always smiling, attentive, and taking great care of us from start to finish. They did everything to ensure we had a perfect time, and it really shows! We were also treated to a delicious meal prepared on board, a real pleasure in such a magnificent setting. Everything was there: the beauty of the place, the friendliness, the good mood, the professionalism, and above all this feeling of being welcomed like friends rather than just tourists. Amazing day on the water

It was amazing. The cruise out to the island was so pleasant. The catamaran went at a really nice pace to really enjoy the ride. Especially sitting on the netting watching the water. The swim was so nice and the water was crystal clear. , They supplied everything you could want for a day in the water. The dinner was delicious. I truly can’t imagine anyone rating this less than 5 stars. It was perfect and I consider it a bargain for the price. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Great trip!! I was so glad my husband and I booked the speedboat tour instead of one of the larger boat tours. We had more time and a guaranteed seat. Our captain was lovely and gave us drinks throughout the trip. If you are looking to travel to Balos, THIS is the way to do it!!

Great tour with a fun guarantee

Booking and contacting the organizer was super easy. About a week before, I was messaged via WhatsApp and asked if we wanted a pickup at the hotel. The quad tour began at 9:30 a.m. with an orientation and we were back at 1:30 p.m. Tip: if you have a neck gaiter at home, pack it. Otherwise you can buy one on-site for 2€. A bandana or neck gaiter is urgently necessary because it gets quite dusty and you otherwise get problems with breathing. In our group there were 3 quads and 3 buggies. So a manageable group. The guide was super nice and there were two short breaks and one 30-minute break. The guides had water and sandwiches with them for everyone. I recommend choosing clothes that can get dirty and sturdy footwear. You definitely get to see places in Crete here that are not accessible with a rental car.

Great Day on the Water

A catamaran, crystal clear to deep blue waters, good food and great vibes- what a day!! The Yannis (John) was a great captain and the entire crew was friendly and organized. They gave specific safety guidance before starting the tour and the rest of the day was enjoyable time spent on the water. The boat was so clean! Gramvousa Island was a beautiful and unique experience. DO NOT forget beach shoes. You definitely need them. Balos Lagoon was stunning and a must see; however if you are an avid beach lover and want to spend several hours alternating between sand and water, I’d opt for a different beach. This tour was all about relaxing and enjoying being pampered on a mini day cruise while taking in some of the amazing wonders found only in Greece. Highly recommend!

Splendid day!!

It was a beautiful experience. We left at 3:00 PM from the port of Heraklion (they are very punctual, I recommend arriving at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure). The crossing lasts 1 hour but it is very pleasant. Arriving at St. George's Bay on the island of Dia, we spent 4 hours here swimming and snorkeling in crystal clear waters. The dinner is abundant and very good: they served us pasta with shrimp, Cretan salad, and to finish, mixed fruit. On the boat, you have soft drinks and water at your disposal. A special thanks goes to Amelia and Captain Alexandros for their kindness, precision, and attention to safety. On the way back, we were able to see the sunset from the boat, and it was a view that I will not easily forget. Highly recommended!!

The perfect day in Balos and Gramvousa

A perfect day, departure from the port with a stop directly at Balos where we stayed until 12:00, a perfect time before all the large ships arrive. Departure for Gramvousa where we had lunch with rice, chicken, vegetables, shrimp, and various savory snacks, finished with dessert and fruit! I'll return in the afternoon to finish the perfect day.

There were so many fun...

There were so many fun activities included for all ages, from stand-up paddleboards and snorkeling to the inflatable slide. The food was also absolutely delicious, and everything was very well organised. A huge thank you to Daniel and Joanna, who went above and beyond with their communication, organisation, and genuine willingness to help. I was especially grateful after I dropped my phone into 12 metres of water. They immediately jumped into action, helped recover it, and somehow managed to get it back for me, something I’ll never forget! The only thing to keep in mind is that if you’re prone to seasickness, the ride can get a little bumpy depending on the wind conditions. Overall, an amazing experience with a fantastic crew. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Awesome! It was worth every cent, and the price-performance ratio is surprisingly good. The route was really great; it included everything (wilderness, off-road, coast, small villages). Additionally, there was food (a delicious sandwich, something sweet, and water) and a photo album, which I received via email right after. The trip guides, as well as the lady who sold us the tour, are super nice!! There was also a small pottery workshop included (or alternatively a cave tour). Overall, a great experience ☺️

Amazing excursion!
