What are people saying about Barcelona

One of the Highlights of My Barcelona Trip!
Alfonso & Txema were amazing hosts! This cooking class was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Barcelona. The paella was absolutely incredible! I even tried mussels and gazpacho for the first time, and both were wonderful! The sangria was delicious, and enjoying everything from the rooftop while watching the sunset over Barcelona made the experience even more special. The views were breathtaking! An unexpected surprise was that all of the guests in our group happened to be American. We had such a great time getting to know one another, sharing stories about our travels, and exchanging recommendations. I even walked away with a few new suggestions for things to do while I was in Barcelona. The conversation and engagement really added to the experience and made the evening feel like a dinner with new friends. The only problem is that Alfonso has officially ruined paella for me 😂. Every time I eat it from now on, I’m going to be comparing it to his! I can’t wait to try the recipe at home. Great food, great hosts, great conversation, and an unforgettable atmosphere. I highly recommend this experience!

Paella perfection!
We had such a fun time in this class and the walking to the market. Only thing that made it a bit difficult was the rain but nonetheless it was an amazing experience! Alberto was phenomenal and understood the type of class he had and allowed breaks for sangria and chatter. Would absolutely recommend the gab lab.. so fun and educational!!

Fun experience!
We had a great time with this. The chef was clearly knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. Our group was really small. It might have been a little more lively with a larger group, but our felt intimate and personal. The food was delicious. Can't wait to try and make it at home.

Book it. You won’t regret it.
Fernando was awesome. Personable, fun and a great teacher. The space was cool. Cooking during the day, after hours audio files listen to music on their headphones and have a silent dance party, and other days DJs are there to try out their mixes. Back to cooking. My word the croquetas were so good. I couldn’t believe we made them. I could and probably did eat them to I was about to pop. The tortilla de paptas I will definitely try for a weekend breakfast. The sangria was delicious. And now I know why other Sangrias have given me a headache some time later. In short, 100% recommend Fernando and the class. Food was delicious. Atmosphere laid back, fun, family friendly. Fernando even gave us suggestions on things to do for the rest of our stay.
