Beautiful Ketchikan
Great customer service. Clean facilities, clean Rain gear.
We had a beautiful, sunny day. Beautiful country! Saw lots of Starfish, and even held a big purple one.
Also had a harbour seal following us for a while. He kept poking his head up. So cute.

The weather was horrible but everyone made the best of it & enjoyed. Lots of wildlife spotted, we saw numerous kinds of birds, killer whales then humpback whales, sea lions, starfish, seals, mountain goats & otters! The captain was entertaining and knowledgeable, the crew were all professional and friendly. Thanks for a Great (wet) day!!

Everything about the...
Everything about the excursion was great from beginning to end. Check in details were very clear, check in staff were friendly, bus drivers/transport staff all nice the crew in the ship were wonderful as well. 5 hrs was a great time for this tour. We originally had 3hrs with another tour which wouldn’t have been enough time to take pictures of both the glacier and waterfall with the hikes. Glad we found this one and canceled the other tour. This was a wonderful day and we were excited to see 2 whales during our tour!

Wonderful Whale Watching
Great tour. Knowledgeable guides and good captain. The boat was a nice double decker with large viewing windows and access to the open air decks. We saw a family of Orcas and several humpbacks. Stopped briefly for pictures with the Mendenhall glacier.

Whales, orcas, bears, and a drone
Captain Josh and crew took us out into Icy Strait Point and we saw lots of humpback whales and orcas. It was like they were following the boat. One time a pod of three orcas came right along side. Then the crew launched a drone to find more whales. We then went by the shoreline and found a bear and the found another bear with cubs. We were the instructed to get out on the boat and wave to the hovering drone. At the conclusion of the tour, we each got a flash drive of the photos taken by the drone hovering over the whales and the bears. What a great souvenir of our tour.

So much to Sea
This was a great tour. The crew was amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable. Captain Chris drove the boat smoothly and went to many great spots. We were able to see bald eagle, humpback whale, fin whale, otters, seals, and a goat. Highly recommend this tour!

Ignore the instructions and Redcoats
Double check the directions because they are needlessly complicated. Immediately after you take the cable car up the hill, do a left U turn down a gravel walkway. At the bottom of the hill you will see benches for a waiting area. This is place to be. The instructions they give you to find the tour are incorrect.
Warning: the helpful friendly staff wearing red HAVE NO IDEA. AT. ALL. Do not ask them anything. Do not believe them.

The tour company was a...
The tour company was a local company and provided a wonderful and fun whale watching experience. Chris, Genevieve, and Megan were all knowledgeable of the waters and the habitat of the whales. They treated us to Humpbacks, a baby Humpback that breached multiple times, and a pod of orcas! All in one afternoon! It was spectacular. Thank you ladies for the best trip on our trip!

It's a great experience...
It's a great experience led by experts. Our guides were kind and patient giving e-biking instructions to a bunch of newbies and were very knowledgeable about the area during our forest hike. I'd advise anyone who's ever ridden a bike to give it try. It was a lot of fun!

Side by side ATV TOUR
Don’t hesitate!! Book the side by side ATV tour! Our tour guides Andrew (from Prague) and Johnathan (from Florida) were consummate professionals - knowledgeable, entertaining, courteous. It snowed on the mountains the night before and flurried on us while on the glacier-carved river bed!! The lunch served was delicious with huge portions. Best thing we could have done all around!!

Morning kayaking in Ketchikan
Excursion provided transport to and from the cruise terminal. We started at 730.
About 90 minutes of kayaking - saw starfish, sea lions, sea cucumbers, and bald eagles.
Great tour guides. Would definitely recommend. Much more economical than the similar tour via the cruise line.

Make sure to love Alaska
The best zip line guides ever. Noah and Zack were the best. They had the whole group yelling and singing while zipping and the dad jokes that seem to never end. You get a 15 min ride on side by sides back in which were full of mud ,wife loves muddying made her whole day!! which came with the zip lining. I saw a lynx on ride so keep watch. Over all great time.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
No trip to the Last Frontier is complete without seeing some incredible wildlife. Alaska whale-watching tours depart from all of the state’s major port cities—including Juneau, Seward, and Icy Strait Point (Hoonah)—and vessels make it easy for cruise ship passengers to arrive on time for these exciting excursions. See humpback whales, orcas, and other wildlife up close during their annual migration, and marvel at their unique tail flukes as they dive near your boat. Plus, on-board naturalists offer interesting context.
