Alaska Tales and whale tales
Papa Bear was very informative, and we loved the music trivia game on the way back to the ship. We loved the enthusiasm of the naturalists and we learned a lot about the local whales and got many sightings of them feeding! The hike to the waterfall was so lovely, but we wished we had at least another 15 minutes to also get to the glacier viewing point. You only really have time to do one or the other in less than an hour (unless you race to the waterfall and back).

Great option for new or experienced kayakers
Moderate physical activity for the person seated in the back. Unique kayaking with emphasis on local sea creatures & flora. Very educational & the entire family enjoyed it. You will be tired afterwards! Perfect timing for our shorter port day as we had time to explore a little bit of downtown before going on the kayaking trip.

Bike & Hike Tour
This was a fantastic experience….Vessna did a great job making us feel comfortable on our ride and with the bikes. She was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area. We were lucky to have a guest ecologist/ forester, Mike, on our tour who enhanced the discussions about all things in the forrest with Vessna. I learned so much between the two of them. We saw a Humpback Whale, deer, learned about Salmon berries and others. The scenery was amazing. I was a little worried that I wouldn't keep up with more experienced riders, however, everyone helped each other and it was a fairly easy ride! Highly recommend!!

Really fun experience!
Most of the trip was pretty warm, even outside by the railing, but it got really chilly near the glacier. That being said, we saw everything we hoped for! Orcas, humpbacks, sea lions, puffins, a black bear, a sea otter, a some porpoises, and a ton of other birds. The captain did a great job trying to let everyone have a view no matter where they were on the ship.
It was very exciting for us. Also a special shout out to Sam, who works on board! Fun guy to talk to. :)

Highly Recommend!!!
Incredible experience. The crew is very knowledgeable, friendly and facilitate a perfect whale watching experience. After seeing all the other boats, the size and wrap around viewing deck is far superior to the rest. Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to see whales!

Awesome Whale Tour
This was amazing experience, Once we were off the cruise ship the staff was right there with a friendly greeting giving us instructions on meeting our bus that was taking us to the marina friendly and informative driver. The boat was clean and the crew and captain were friendly and knowledgeable the whales, glaciers, and lighthouse as we traveled along the area. Now the Awesome part they took us to the Humpback Whales they were magnificent it was just breath taking to see these beautiful creatures. The trip was worth every penny they promised 3 hours and we were with the group the entire time. You will never regret taking this Alaska Whale Watching Cruise, what you will regret not taking the Harv & Marv's Whale Watching Cruise.

Amazing experience with Captain Josh and crew
Unbelievable experience! Captain Josh was amazing, and even though he does this everyday, he gets so excited when he sees whales appear. His crew Kyler and Joe were helpful and knowledgeable as well. Boat was clean and we felt very safe.
I would highly recommend this tour, and will do it again if ever in Alaska.

Whales Galore!
You are going to see a lot of whales. About 100 yards, federal law prohibits intentional close encounters with whales (not orcas). Occasionally with engines off, a pod comes close if you are lucky. It was mid July, and the Orcas were around but apparently more plentiful in June. Learned Alaska has a season for sites, if you are in the right place at the right time, bingo. The crew delivered and I can highly recommend

Beautiful!
Jess and Grayson were very friendly. I felt very safe. We saw a whale in the distance before we even got into the kayaks. A seal cub came within a foot or two of our kayak! There were many bald eagles, starfish, and sea cucumbers. The water was quite clear and calm.

Rare Bubble Feed Sighting- so awe Struck
Takes a bit to actually get organized for buses and onto a boat. Boat ride out is long. Channel the whales are was beautiful. We saw large pod of whales up to 20. They were doing a rare event called “Bubble Feed”. So awesome!! The naturalist and biologist boat drivers were in awe themselves. Once on a life time event.

Great experience
We went whale watching with Patrick, Mason and Captain T. We had an extraordinary time and saw many whales. At least a pod of 6 with one little show off baby! Also saw Stellar seals. It was a great experience and just what we hoped for and the weather was perfect. The glacier was a bit of a let down, no fault of the tour company. Just got there as the information center was closing so had a lot of time to kill.

Zipline + bonus!
Fantastic experience! Bonus 15 min ATV ride before and after zip lining to get to the course. Guides Kyle & Shym were great- fun! Driver Colin was great too. The various bridges were another fun/interesting part. We definitely highly recommend this trip! We’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
No trip to the Last Frontier is complete without seeing some incredible wildlife. Alaska whale-watching tours depart from all of the state’s major port cities—including Juneau, Seward, and Icy Strait Point (Hoonah)—and vessels make it easy for cruise ship passengers to arrive on time for these exciting excursions. See humpback whales, orcas, and other wildlife up close during their annual migration, and marvel at their unique tail flukes as they dive near your boat. Plus, on-board naturalists offer interesting context.
