Had a wonderful evening with our guide Juan Miguel... He gave us insights on the history of Granada, some of the buildings, and tasted some delicious tapas with grabada's own take on them...the wine pairings were outstanding... Highly recommended.. And make sure you bring an appetite!

Emma was a lovely guide happy to answer any questions. The quality of the food and drink was really good. Emma was able to give some history behind the food as well and I might not necessarily find these places on my own thank you!

This tour deserves more than five stars! Our guide, Emma, was fantastic! She spoke excellent English and was extremely knowledgeable about Granada and the food scene here. She also gave us very helpful advice about things to do in Granada. The food and drinks at every single stop on the tour were fabulous. I highly recommend this tour. I’ve done food tours all over the world and this one was one of my favorites.

We spent the evening walking Granada with Emma on a fantastic food tour. We stopped at four different restaurants, all full of locals, and had 2 to 3 dishes at each restaurant and a corresponding drink. Emma is a Granada native, who has lived in Ireland, the Caribbean and East Africa. She js worldly, smart and had an informed perspective on food from southern Spain, as well as historical context. Highly recommend!

Wow this was a great tour with emma. Started with lovely short historic street then into a lovely pub style place great tapas and as not fan of vermut a great vino tinto. The next venues were also awesome not places you would find wondering about. The wine in all was so good and a great variety of food and cava to finish fab evening thank you

Local hidden gem tapas tour

We were treated to several local hidden gems that would have been nearly impossible to find on my own. The food and drinks provided were excellent (although the seafood location was the weakest link out of otherwise top rated places). Emma lead a fantastic group providing useful insights in what was certainly my best food tour experience to date.

We had the most wonderful experience on our food and wine walking tour in Granada with our guide, Juan Miguel. From the moment we met him, he was warm, knowledgeable, and simply delightful to spend the evening with. His passion for Granada’s culture and cuisine really shone through, and he made every stop feel special. Throughout the tour, we tried an incredible variety of local dishes—delicate fish, melt-in-your-mouth ham, rich pâté, and the most heavenly Basque cheesecake to finish. Each bite was paired with wines or beers that Juan Miguel recommended, and every pairing felt spot-on, enhancing the flavors and giving us a true taste of the region. What really stood out was Juan Miguel’s ability to talk about culture, and blend history, storytelling, and humor with the food experience, making it not just a meal but a journey through Granada’s traditions and his experience growing up in Andalucia. We walked away full, happy, and with a much deeper appreciation for Spanish food and wine. If you’re in Granada and want to experience the city like a local, this tour—and especially Juan Miguel—is absolutely not to be missed!
