It was what we were looking for. It’s a quick run through both museums. If you want to spend more time and go into the individual rooms, this tour is not for you. But if you want to go to both museums in a short period of time and hit the highlights then this is perfect. You do get to spend as long as you want in the Academia.

This was a fabulous tour of Uffizi and Academia. The art of Uffizi did not disappoint, masterpieces. Mariela was an excellent guide. Thorough but not overpowering. Highly recommend.

    Excellent Tour

    Nicole_P, May 2026
The tour was perfect. We had limited time in Florence and really wanted to see the Uffizi and the Accademia. Because of Mirella’s expertise and organization, we were able to see everything and also enjoy a nice, informative walk in between the two locations. Mirella is a wealth of information and has a wonderful flow in her tour style. We had the most amazing day in Florence because of Mirella.

    Timing is Everything

The Uffizi was overrun with American tourists, and others. No one was intentionally rude, but it was almost impossible to view a painting or sculpture without having to stand on your toes, angle your head or squat. It was simply "unviewable" in the normal sense of the term. Mary, our guide, was excellent, and should be commended for making the best choices so she could isolate us as much as possible with selected paintings, sculpture, etc. We made a mistake in selecting the 12 Noon tour, where school children on tours, and tourists from around the world converge. This is my second trip to the Uffizi. I fell in love with it the first time; this was a stark reminder to schedule my next tour early in the morning or late in the day.

    Insight into great artists’ masterpieces!

    SueAnne_T, May 2026
Need to walk about 10-15mins between the two attractions. Started as a small group of 7pax at Uffizi but increased to 16pax at the Accademia. Only small drink bottles are allowed into both places

    Must do better

    Anthony_C, May 2026
There are a lot of people visiting the galleries and it is difficult not to get separated from the speaker and to look at the pictures/statues as she speaks. You should be made aware of what you are going to see and also what you are not going to see.

Uffizi and Accademia in half day

    Karen_P, Apr 2026
Good for those looking at the main points of interest in the 2 museums. Perfect for us as we had limited time. Well worth it!

    Hits all the highlights.

Well worth the money to have a guide and to be able to skip the lines. The guides are so knowledgeable and are eager to answer any questions.

Good taste of art history and influence of Florence

    Nicole_H, Apr 2026
Fantastic tour. Great historical lessons of Florence, the Medici family, Art History and the Renaissance. Sylvia was particularly amazing as our tour guide in both locations.

Not enough time in the Uffizi

    Patrick_H, Mar 2026
The guide was very educational about the evolution of art/history during the Renaissance. We learned a lot, however we would have like to have seen more pieces, there just was not enough time for both the history lessons and the art viewing. And then there was travel time between the two museums. I would recommend separating these into two separate tours, in order to devote more time, especially in the Uffizi .

    Fabulous Tour

Francesco was an amazing guide! We learned so much about the art and the history behind it. And the walk between the 2 museums allowed for an abridged walking tour as well. And he didn’t leave us without giving us recommendations for food in the area.

Excellent tour. Very informative with history and meaning behind the museum , the art, the city. Highly recommend

    Must see!...

Must see! Our tour guide was phenomenal! David up close was amazing. Touring with our guide made our experience effortless.

    Excellent guide

    Katherine_M, Nov 2025
The exhibit was beautiful. I wish we had more time to see the artwork. We felt a little bit rushed. We did wait 45 minutes in line even with our tour prepaid. It was a little challenging, finding the meeting spot. But overall a wonderful tour and exceptional tour guide

    Good tour

    Annie_M, Nov 2025
Very good tour good information. Small Tour was perfect way to see the gallery. Lots of great stories behind the art

    Great tour and tour guide!

    David_B, Oct 2025
Probably the best tour of our trip! Guide was extremely knowledgeable and the Accademia Gallery was my favorite, but very crowded. Uffizi also amazing. Tour guide was the key!

    MarthaA_V, Oct 2025
The tour guide was fantastic, but it is very fast paced. You will only see the major highlights at the Uffizi. If you like to lollygag and contemplate specific paintings and or the environment, I suggest booking a longer tour at the Uffizi.

    Worth every penny.

    THERESA_F, Oct 2025
We were given a high-quality tour of the gallery and museum. Information was interesting and informative. We highly recommend this tour.

    Quick tour of great art!

    Shara_C, Oct 2025
If you love art history but don’t have a lot of time, this is a great 3-4 hour tour! Our tour guide Laura was very knowledgeable!!

    Rushed, and Not Worth It

    Erayna_G, Oct 2025
This was one of the most disappointing tours I’ve ever taken. We were instructed to arrive by 11:45 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. start, but the guide didn’t even pick us up until noon. Despite having “skip the line” tickets, we spent nearly 30 minutes waiting before entering the Uffizi Gallery. By then, we were already running behind, and the entire experience felt rushed and disorganized. The guide spent too much time asking open-ended questions instead of providing concise explanations of key artworks. Given the limited time, it would have been better to focus on the major pieces and allow for questions at the end. His delivery also felt somewhat disengaged. We had booked a combined Uffizi and Accademia Gallery tour, but because of the delays, we were already 20 minutes late for the Accademia portion. When we asked if we could just have our Accademia tickets to explore on our own later, we were told that was not an option. We ultimately decided to skip the Accademia entirely so we could spend more time in the Uffizi — which is much larger and filled with many of the masterpieces we came to see — and to visit the gift shop at our own pace. Overall, this tour felt poorly managed and not worth the money. I recommend skipping this company altogether and purchasing your tickets directly from each museum. Both offer “skip the line” options with audio guides that let you explore at your own pace and actually enjoy the art without feeling rushed or restricted.

    Great tour.

    Jacqueline_M, Oct 2025
This was very informative. Rosa knows her stuff, and she also is great about getting around avoiding crowds in museums!!

    Excellent Tour with Knowledgeable Guide

    Ferrell_D, Sept 2025
This was our second Viator tour on our recent trip to Rome and Florence, and so far, each tour has been flawless. Our tour guide, Pamela, was very knowledgeable and very patient with our many questions. She did a great job keeping our small group of 10 together as we went through the museums on an extremely busy Tuesday. Apparently Tuesdays are one of the busiest days since the museums are closed on Mondays. I had been to the Accademia as a student many years ago, but I learned more from Pamela than I did from my previous guide. Together with Pamela's insight and the ability to skip the lines, the Viator guided tour is well worth the cost.

    Hustled thru Uffizi.

    John_T, Sept 2025
Cannot stay in the Uffizi museum o or return to it with ur pass as u are shuffled on a 15 minute walk to the Academia museum on a schedule. Kind of quick thru Uffizi.

    Great tour!

    THERESE_S, Sept 2025
We had a wonderful tour with Marta and learned so much from her. She did a great job pointing out the “important” pieces and explaining the history and symbolism behind each one.

    Great tour

    Tanya_S, Aug 2025
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made this tour a delight! He brought the art and history to life. Highly recommend.

Very relaxed and informative. Skipping the queue is a must especially during peak season. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the history keeping the experience very engaging. Having limited knowledge ourselves about Italian history, this tour provided us with an extensive insight into the history of Florence and all the beauty that has been created. This tour was worth every Euro! Thank you for an amazing experience.

    Lara was fantastic

    Marlene_P, Jul 2025
Lara was superb and gave us a lot of history . We enjoyed the history and the pace of the tour. We would ask for Lara again

    Fantastic tour!

    Jen_S, Jun 2025
This was a fantastic tour! Our guide was knowledgable, funny, brought in the kids with questions - it couldn’t have been better. It was one of the hottest days here, but he was flexible and entertaining. Highly recommend!

Knowledgable host, check size of group prior to choosing

    Betty_A, Jun 2025
The host was knowledgeable however not open to questions probably due to crowds in the facility and a large group to herd around; he was very good at manuring around the crowd even if the guest were not, often losing a few guests in the process, causing a lag while others caught up. We enjoyed the tour only because of the host knowledge of the art. Would not choose this tour again due to the number of guest in the tour.

    Memorable Guide and Tour

    Christie_G, Jun 2025
Our guide shared so much background information and history as we toured the museums. Marta was a wonderful guide! It was nice to be in a small group of only 6 people so we could navigate the crowds more quickly.
