Amazing time!

Francesca was a great guide. Lots of energy and incredibly knowledgeable. Perfect group size and answered all of our questions. Highly recommend this and especially the climb up the bell tower.

The David - a wonder of the world

None

Doug_W, May 2026
It was good but I felt like she was giving a lot of extra information so as to stall us - not sure why. Also, unaware that I couldn't bring my roller bag and my husband's backpack.

Must see David!!!!

Linda_A, May 2026
Our guide, Andrea, was terrific. She had so much interesting information, and she kept our small group really engaged.

Great tour!

Federica was very knowledgeable and friendly!! We had an amazing time seeing the Duomo and Statue of David, and learned a lot

Great tour and knowledgeable guide

Timothy_C, May 2026
Martina is very knowledgeable about Florence and we learned a lot about the history of Michelangelo’s art.

Disappointed

Anonymous, May 2026
Very disorganized and disappointing. The guide was terrible- she basically had 2 groups but she had no idea who was who. 2hr and 3hr group. My booking says between 2-3 hours- how is this differentiated? The guide had no idea. We did a lot of standing around. They pre-book your time slot for the bell tower- you have no choice on this. You get entry to the cathedral and museum- but the guide does not take you there. She says “you have 72 hour to go in by yourself and wait in line”. I waited for the “skip the line” entry to the cathedral for an hour- with NO guide. We spent 10 minutes in the Academia to see David and another 10 minutes inside another place. The rest was her walking around and explaining we were to do things on our own after the tour. Had I known all of this, I never would have booked. Do yourself a favor and just buy the individual tickets from the museums and cathedrals. You’re still going to wait around no matter what.

Really good tour option

Rebecca_M, May 2026
This was a really good tour option with a quick entry into the academia museum. We got to stay for quite a while and look at the things there and then went to the Duomo. The Duomo inside and going underground into the ruins below was amazing.

Don’t miss!

Peter_K, May 2026
Excellent guide, amazing experience! Our guide Marco knows just about everything there is to know about Michelangelo’s ”David”.

Vanessa_Q, Apr 2026
If there is anything in Florence that is a must do and cannot miss, it is the statue of David. This statue is so massive and impressive, it will leave you in awe. We had the most wonderful tour guide. She was very kind, funny, and had a lot of knowledge and information to share. I very highly recommend this tour!

Cathleen_M, Apr 2026
A lot of information in a 2 hour tour. However, Freddie was excellent and extremely friendly and informative.

Great tour guide!

Yvonne_M, Apr 2026
This tour was great! Our tour guide was very informative and funny. Our tickets for us into more than just the 2 museums it also for you into other buildings that you can explore after the tour is over in your own time.

Skip this for another tour.

JILL_D, Apr 2026
We had a 9am tour and our tour guide said the line was too long and just gave us our tickets to see the duomo on our own time. Very disappointed.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

We would like to clarify that our tour description explicitly and in detail states that interior access to Florence Cathedral (Duomo) is not included in the morning departures. Due to site regulations, entry to the Cathedral is only possible during specific afternoon hours. As you selected a morning time slot, the tour was delivered exactly as described, without entry inside the Cathedral. Reading tour descriptions that are plainly open, repeated in tour confirmation and reminders that the inside is not included may have helped the disappointment. It was never promised.

Great experience

Nicole_H, Apr 2026
Marco was great! Kept everyone inline and on track. He was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour.

Easy city tour

Mercedes_A, Apr 2026
Good tour. Went specific to the two sites I wanted to see in Florence and gave enough time to explore and see with good information.

David viewing

Robin_F, Apr 2026
Lots of information given while touring the museum. Guide was very knowledgeable. Was not aware we would be given Duomo tickets to view on our own. We were not able to do this as we were only there for one day.

David is absolutely...

Tony_D, Apr 2026
David is absolutely breathtaking. You won't believe how tall the statue is, and it magnifies every outrageously perfect detail. The Duomo is somewhat of a letdown. In fact, before we entered, our guide literally warned us that there is nothing interesting inside. So, the value of the tour is mostly skipping the lines and the expert explanations around the statue of David.

Tour guide terrible which...

Anne_G, Apr 2026
Tour guide terrible which ruined experience. Talks on and on and couldn't understand most of it. Do not need to pay for tour of this- can save money and do it yourself for much less and more enjoyable. Teenage kids were beyond miserable and so was I.

Do not recommend

Stephen_M, Apr 2026
I do not recommend. The operator failed to purchase tickets to enter the locations. The guy wanted to continue the tour just walking around the outside of the building. Talk about it.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

Please note that the Florence Cathedral is an active church rather than a purely tourist attraction. On this occasion, it was closed due to officially announced Easter celebrations. The tickets were refunded to us, and we have passed this refund on to you accordingly. Despite the circumstances, our guide made every effort to provide the best possible experience and compensate for the disruption. As outlined in the trip notes, such closures can occur, though they are rare, due to religious or institutional decisions beyond our control.

Carol_R, Mar 2026
The tour provided good access to see David and a late afternoon visit into the Duomo and tower climb when it was near closing time and less people. . The tour group seemed a bit large (more than 20 people) to rally be able to focus. Decent tour but not the best we went on in Itsly

Great Tour

Robert_P, Mar 2026
Great tour, informative and fun. Great job by tour guide explaining the history of the Duomo and means of construction.

Very enjoyable tour

Tracey_C, Mar 2026
This was a perfect way to learn and easily access the sites. Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable- we learned a lot and the time flew by so quickly

So worth doing! Don’t miss this! It’s excellent!

Janet_M, Mar 2026
This is the only way to go to visit the statue of David and the Duomo. Our guide was so well informed, and the information I received, I would never have known had I not gone on the tour. It was also wonderful that we skipped all the lines and had some pretty private time in the chapel. We got to tour the chapel when you had to have a reservation to get in. Our guide was not only well educated she was very organized and I was amazed how smoothly we flowed through everything.

Wonderful enlightening tour!
