Easiest way to skip the line. The gentleman was exactly where he said to meet, handed us the tickets and even escorted us to where we needed to go. Highly recommend using this vendor. Waited about 4 minutes to get in the museum.

Cancelled 30min before the trip and have not refunded me. This is a listing hosting multiple tour guides who purchase tickets, my guide happened to decide 5 minutes of rain was too much so they cancelled everyone's bookings.

On the day of your visit, due to heavy rain and operational delays at Galleria dell'Accademia, the museum was no longer honoring the scheduled skip-the-line access in the normal way. Visitors, including priority-entry ticket holders, were facing waiting times of approximately two hours. Rather than asking our guests to pay for a premium service that could not be properly delivered under those exceptional circumstances, we made the decision to cancel the booking and issue a full refund immediately. We believe this was the most honest and professional solution, as maintaining the quality and reputation of our service is extremely important to us. Unfortunately, weather conditions and museum operational delays are outside of our control, but we always try to act in the best interest of our guests whenever unexpected situations arise. The Academy has turned into an insane zoo. Obviously, it’s an amazing museum and ‘unmissable’…and yet even paying double to normal rate to ‘skip the line’ it’s still an hour + to get in. I saw the David 30 years ago, and many of the masterworks I. The museum have been restored…but I didn’t fly halfway around the world to stand in line in the fast lane. Worth noting: the operator felt like a scam, but everything worked out fine. And we weren’t even in tourist season. It’s a must see…but I certainly wouldnt do it again.

Ticket process is chaotic and feels like a scam

The ticket ordering and collection process is complex, chaotic and not fit for purpose. The whole lie process feels like a scam and creates anxiety when a n entry ticket should be issued and entry organised accordingly. Instead the absurd system of vouchers and characters in doorways exchanging them for tickets is nonsense.

We arrived to collect our tickets. The vendor immediately swapped it for a timed entry earlier than ours. It very clear that these types of sites buy up all the tickets and then sell them on at a premium. It's ticket touting but there is no choice if you don't have the stamina to queue. The gallery is interesting. The partially completed works by Leonardo Da Vinci and the statue of David are wonderful, as is the plaster room. There was also a display of historic instruments including a Stradivarius. Lots of icons if that's your thing. The museum does have some steps between floors but there is a wheelchair lift if needed.

Our visit to the Galleria dell’Accademia to see David was an absolute highlight of our time in Florence. The host was incredibly easy to find right from the start, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. They were very friendly, welcoming, and organized, immediately putting us at ease. One of the best parts was being able to skip the long lines outside. It saved us a significant amount of time and allowed us to focus on enjoying the museum rather than waiting. Once inside, seeing David in person was truly breathtaking and exceeded all expectations. Visit to Accademia Gallery

Booked through Viator. Cheaper through the gallery website but no tickets available for our date (Resellers like Viator obviously buy up lots of tickets and make a margin) Booking process straightforward but that only gives you a voucher. This voucher needs to be exchanged for actual tickets with a representative of the reseller at a location close to the entrance of the gallery. This process actually worked smoothly. The rep was at the location when we arrived 10 mins before our entry time. Tickets were provided which included the "skip the line option" The rep told us to see the security guards who on presentation of the tickets directed us to a different entrance to the main line up of visitors. It all sounded a bit risky when I made the booking but everything worked well so I would recommend this approach if you cannot get the cheaper tickets on the gallery website

The academia is amazing. The meeting place for tickets feels shady. We were to arrive 15 minutes before our scheduled time. We were told to wait til 5 minutes before. Then we did not receive the skip the line ticket as we purchased. The tickets are sold out direct from the museum but the tour operator was going in and out and getting tickets from inside. They are marked up in price. They should limit the tour operators to a small number of tickets and only if they accompany the tour

Worst organization ever!

We have never experienced such an unorganized team like this before. It took us almost 2 hours to get our tickets (only for the grownups) and into the museum. At the entrance to the exhibition we were screamed at from the guy in charge, because the kids didn't get a ticket from the viator subagency, even though we have payed 29 € for each and kids normally have to pay no more than 4 € for a time slot reservation. We were so frustrated after that experience that we hadn't the slightest fun to explore the museum and left after 10 minutes. I do kindly asked for a full refund!!!

We waited for a while...

We waited for a while waiting for our tickets. No one from the tour agency came to give us our entrance tickets to the gallery. We asked the doorman at the gallery and we were informed that entrance is free on the first Sunday of each month. I was charged $133 and some cents for the entrance tickets for 3 adults.

Could be a better managed experience

The tickets were not handed over to us at 445 despite reaching the meeting point where it was being dispensed. We were given the tickets at 5 pm and had to walk over to the museum entrance. So by the time we got to the line, it was quite long and we entered the museum much later. It’s frustrating if one is on time and things aren’t optimised. Tourists are usually on a tight schedule so every bit matters.

Great seeing David, and skip the line meant no standing waiting, but our ticket when I booked said skip line entrance & guided tour, when we got in we waited for the guide who brought us in and no one turned up, so we walked round ourselves, with no guided tour ! So make sure you check what’s included - and what you are paying for.
