Very communicative and quick to respond. A very easy and smooth experience for someone who wants to move at their own pace.

Fantastic experience that provides access not only to the Duomo, but additional "hidden" gems

    Dessi_K, Jun 2026
We loved exploring the Basilica Santa Maria del Fiore and the The Crypt of Santa Reparata - it is astonishing to see the Duomo from inside - the intricate art that covers it - it is like heaven itself. The crypt provides a view into 14c of history - there is so much more than meets the eye, so try to read some in advance to better appreciate all the artefacts. I personally enjoyed the best the Opera del Duomo Museum. 6,000+ square meters structured into 28 rooms. Awe inspiring concentration of faith, art and history. Here are preserved the original masterpieces of art that over the course of seven centuries have decorated its monuments: from Michelangelo, to Donatello, Brunelleschi, Ghiberti and countless others... combined with the soft and ethereal music that plays throughout the museum, the experience is otherworldly.

A ‘Must See’ Experience in Florence

Another not-to-be-missed experience. There was a line but it was worth the wait. It’s magnificent. Don’t miss the ruins downstairs.

This was not skip the line. They would not let us in and our only option was to stand in line after 700 ppl in the burning sun. Still waiting back from Viator for refund

No guide- just buying a ticket that has been sold out. Essentially reselling the ticket. You will still wait on line, but it moves quickly. The Catherdral, Bell Tower and Crpyt were captivating and wonderful. Gorgeous views, stunning art work and engineering.

    Made it to the top.

    Douglas_C, Jun 2026
Lovely experience, including the 414 steps to the top of the bell tower. There was a queue for the skip the line access so I would get there for around 9:30am if booking the early option

    Skip the line…

    ChristineK_S, Jun 2026
Skip line is great. It does not mean you won’t wait in a line. It just means you skipped the very very, very long lines.

    Don't choose this one.

    Nicole_B, Jun 2026
Doors don't open until 10:15 even if you have any earlier ticket. There is no skip the line. You have to stand in line for everything.

    False promise

    jeff_o, Jun 2026
There is nothing about skipping the line about is accurate. We got to the cathedral at our scheduled time and the line was all the past the cathedral. I see no point paying for skip the line when you don’t skip any lines to enter a free entrance building. AVOID THIS

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for your feedback. We always recommend that guests arrive at their scheduled time because, before the cathedral opens in the morning, visitors begin lining up and the queue naturally grows longer until the doors open. While there may still be a line, the reserved entrance queue is typically much quicker and shorter than the general admission line at the main entrance. It's also important to note that the benefit is not only the skip-the-line access, but also having your tickets secured in advance. Tickets are frequently sold out, and your pre-booked reservation guaranteed entry and helped you avoid the disappointment of finding no availability on the day of your visit. We appreciate your comments and hope this helps clarify the advantages of the reservation service.

Definitely skip the line for the Duomo.

    Marguerite_C, Jun 2026
Worth the skip the line. The Duomo is beautiful inside and out. If you don't skip the line, you will wait a long time. Try to go in the morning or late afternoon to beat the heat. No backpacks allowed.

An important life lesson — Mario’s interpretation of Michelangelo’s message to humanity.

    Lawrence_C, Jun 2026
Mario is one of the best tour guides I’ve ever encountered. I don’t want to go into too much detail so as not to spoil the experience, but one thing I can say is that this is not a typical tour. It is more of a journey through life. You will learn a very important lesson that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

Instructions aren’t clear: The pickup location wasn’t at the event. I never got the ticket and never went to the event. Late instructions don’t count!

    Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear that you were unable to attend the event. We would like to clarify that the meeting point and ticket collection instructions were provided in advance within the booking information. Additionally, we provide a dedicated contact number for assistance, and our customer support team is available via both phone call and WhatsApp to help guests with any difficulties they may encounter. If you were having trouble locating the pickup point or receiving your ticket, we strongly encourage contacting our support team immediately. We are always available to provide real-time assistance and help resolve any issues before the activity begins. We regret that we were not given the opportunity to assist you on the day and appreciate your feedback as we continue working to improve our guests' experience.

    Duomo and its surrounding

    Sheeba_M, May 2026
Think this was worth seeing but extremely overpriced. I though it would be with a guide and last minute I get a notice that I can just show up and do it on my own. Don’t think value of me entering the crypt and then the basilica and Then museum alone was worth it unless there is a huge cost for museum

    William_C, May 2026
Very underwhelming. Very overpriced. Cathedral is better from the outside, not from the inside. Only interesting thing inside the church is the cupola ceiling.

    Beautiful experience

The Duomo is worth the wait and price. Unless you plan to get there very early to wait to get in free I would suggest paying for the ticket as the line is very long.

    Disappointed

    Jo_D, May 2026
It is not really skip the line, so many we had to stand in line for 30 minutes, then we got to museum and was closed, so we didn’t even get to see. Wouldn’t buy these tickets again. No audio tour

It was great to skip main queues but difficult to find the person to collect tickets when it was so busy . They needed a

    Kathy_M, May 2026
If you are with a partner, have one stand in line whilst the other organizes the tickets to save time in the heat.

Book directly with Duomo to save 60%, this is a markup scam and you don’t get to skip the line

    Nick_S, May 2026
There is no “skip the line” just book it directly with the Duomo and you’ll save 60%. They’ll even send you the tickets which show the price of them direct through Duomo so you get to see how much they’re marked up. Experience itself is worthwhile and climbing the bell tower is a really cool experience, it just only costs $20 direct through Duomo

    Response from Host, May 2026

Hello Nick, Thank you for sharing your experience, I should’ve explained that better. Same-day and last-minute tickets are usually sold out, especially during busy periods. The higher price is mainly because those tickets are reserved in advance and guarantee availability when regular slots are no longer available. The experience itself is definitely worth it though — especially climbing the bell tower.

Above all, don't miss the Museo

    Jane_B, May 2026
It was very difficult finding the tour guide--there are many tabcchis near to the Duomo. The line to get inside the Duomo was very long and the interior was not that interesting, but the crypt was worth the wait. The view from the top of the bell tower is exceptional. The Battistero was as expected, but the Museo was exceptional, the best of the four sites on the ticket.

    Don’t bother

    Kelly_D, May 2026
This was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Been using Viator for years and this one is not recommended. The instructions were not clear where to go, and when you did find it, you “checked in” and went to the queue (which was super long). The fact it was pouring rain didn’t help either. Finally - when we got close they closed it for “religious services”. No refund given hence the review.

    Response from Host, May 2026

We’re sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately, temporary closures of the Cathedral for religious services are entirely decided by the Cathedral management and are beyond our control. Regarding the meeting point and redemption process, the instructions are clearly written on the voucher, including the exact location and steps to redeem the ticket. A contact number and messaging support were also provided in case any assistance was needed before or during the visit. We understand the weather and unexpected closure made the experience frustrating, and we appreciate your feedback.

    Not worth it

    Jeanna_B, May 2026
It was pouring rain the "skip the line" wasnt...we traveled with 6 people got the confirmation on what's app..but had to scan each individual in separately for every building holding up every supposed skip the line...no direction

    Response from Host, May 2026

We’re sorry to hear the experience was frustrating, especially with the heavy rain. Unfortunately, weather conditions and the resulting delays at the entrances are outside of our control and can sometimes slow down the admission process. The tickets for your entire group were sent directly to your phone so everyone could use them at the entrance without needing to wait at a separate meeting point to collect physical tickets. Each person still needs to be scanned individually by the venue staff at every monument, which is part of their entrance procedure. We appreciate your feedback and understand how the weather and queues affected your visit.

    Excellent p

    Debra_C, May 2026
Experience was great The company worked with out time issues. Very happy we picked this excursion. Thank you

    Expected more.

    Joni_T, May 2026
This is not a guided tour. We did enter the Duomo through a side door that was away from the long lines of people which was nice. Otherwise there isn’t a lot to see there or in the Baptistry and without a guide delivering information there’s not much to read about or learn. The outside of the Duomo is the most impressive. Not a must see for me.

    Response from Host, May 2026

Thank you for your feedback and for mentioning that you were able to enter through the side entrance and avoid the very long lines — that is the main purpose of this activity, especially at such a busy site. We would also like to clarify that the experience is clearly described as a self-guided visit and not a guided tour. The Duomo is the main attraction in Florence and one of the busiest monuments in the city, so reserved access helps visitors save significant waiting time. We appreciate you sharing your experience.

    Robert_G, May 2026
Despite the name you didn’t get to skip the line we waited in the hot sun for over an hour to enter. Initially, we were supposed to have a guide and they changed the tour.

    Response from Host, May 2026

We’re sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet expectations. As previously mentioned, all visitors are required to pass through security checks individually, which can take some time, especially since the Duomo is one of the busiest sites in Florence. For this reason, we recommend arriving a few minutes before your reserved time to help ensure a smoother and quicker entrance. We would also like to clarify that this activity is a self-guided visit, not a guided tour, as clearly mentioned on the activity page. We understand there may have been some confusion, and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your feedback — it helps us improve our service.

    Amazing!

Such a humbling experience!! Beautiful sights from the top of the tower and so many other amazing art in the baptistery and museum. Also a great workout 💪🏼✝️🙏🏼

    Duomo in Minutes

    holly_s, May 2026
This was great! We walked into the Duomo almost immediately. We were given the location of the person with our tickets, walked over to the Duomo, and were inside in approximately three minutes!

Need to knows for smooth experience

    Bobby_M, Apr 2026
Please make sure you meet with the tour representative in front of the shops which are along the right side of the Duomo if you're looking at it from the front entrance. They will scan and validate your ticket then you can go get in line. Also, if you have a backpack you have to store it in the luggage deposit which is in a small shop directly behind the back of the Duomo. These two pieces of information are critical to allow you to get into line and enjoy the experience as smoothly as possible.

    Decent

    Erin_F, Apr 2026
Line was somewhat long and we got there about 25 mins before the cathedral opened but it went fast! However the workers outside when asked said there was no such thing as “skip the line”
