Our day rocked!

Great day touring Ephesus. Fascinating slice of world history with an informed, friendly guide. Pickup was on time and easy with our private vehicle and driver. Pace of the day was just right for us. We enjoyed not only walking around the ancient site (it’s a big place), as well as visiting the immersive museum experience. We stopped at an antiquities museum in Kusadasi where many of the site relics are displayed. Fascinating! Al fresco lunch was delicious and filling with a sampling of various local dishes. While the Turkish rug demonstration was interesting and filled with many beautiful rugs, we felt like it was long and strong on the sales pitch. Overall, a great day with our guide Asli. She was personable and fun to talk to and her English was very good. We would recommend the tour as well as Asli!

We were given the best tour by Cana !! She was so kind and informative! She adjusted our tour giving us more time at places we wanted to stay longer. She had so much knowledge about the history and culture of Ephesus and Turkey. We had a beautiful lunch and visit to the local school of weaving and bought the most beautiful hand woven Turkish rug, which I’ve always wanted! Ephesus and the House of Mary was a fantastic tour. We went on a very busy day with 4 ships in port, but our guide made it a pleasant day. The tour is Full of history and our tour guide Ilgu made it extra special. She is wonderful, one of the best guides we have ever had for a tour. She gave us time for pictures, and to rest. She was a wealth of information presented in a way we could understand. I highly recommend this trip and if possible ask for Ilgu. She made a busy day less stressful.

Absolutely perfect day

My guide Lori was the best. She asked about my interests and tailored the day to that. Her timing was perfect in that she switched up locations to miss the crowds. The mix of history and modern Turkish culture was perfect. We visited Mary’s house, Ephesus and a State sponsored rug weaving school. Had an incredible lunch there and as we headed back to town I asked where I might get more Euros. Instead of pointing it out, she came with me to make sure I easily and safely got that done. Lori was the best.

Outstanding tour and tour guide

Fatih waited for us to disembark the cruise ship. We travel with a handicapped adult daughter and both Fatih and the driver were very kind to her. We mainly visited Mary’s House and the ancient ruins of Ephesus. In both places, he expedited our entry so that we weren’t waiting in crowds. In Ephesus, he was our personal audio guide and made the visit more interesting with his knowledge of history. (He actually took special courses in school to become a tour guide and speaks English perfectly.). Although Muslim, he respects the Christian faith to the point of giving the tour through a Christian New Testament perspective. He later took us to where Turkish rugs were handmade and a place where luminous moon rocks were sold. As mentioned, he was Muslim but was not offended when briefly discussing issues of faith. He acknowledged that Islam doesn’t recognize Jesus as divine even though it came into existence 500 to 600 years after the time of Christ (which Islam recognizes the person of Christ). It was truly refreshing to talk with someone who is kind, tolerant, and not easily offended. We highly recommend Fatih and this tour.

Fun eclectic day in Ephesus

Had a fun time touring Ephesus, which is an amazing place. Fatima was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and entertaining. We went to a rug making shop which was much more interesting than I thought it would be and also went to a leather store where we got an actual fashion show, runway and everything. Didn’t buy anything, but the runway show was amazing. We saw the Virgin Mary’s home where she lived later in life. A lot of people visiting there were quite emotional, but not us. All in all, a fun eclectic day with Fatima.

Wonderful tour by Jenc. Tour bus was very comfortable - new Mercedes van. Jenc was very understanding of our need to be back at the cruise port on time since we only had a 5 hour stop. Wonderful sunset cruise

We cannot thank you enough for a brilliant trip. We didn’t want a cruise with dinner but there were canapés and fruit platters provided which were perfect. We were given water and the option of a cold or hot drink or to purchase beer. The commentary was informative and there was plenty of time to chat, listen to the music and enjoy the beautiful views. The boat was clean and comfortable. All the meeting point information was sent to us in advance with clear instructions and a map to the relevant location. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful and took their time to speak to everyone on board, offering help and information about our visit to Istanbul if we needed it. We cannot fault this experience. I am so grateful for your assistance with an issue that I had to enable us not to miss our trip. A heartfelt thank you for everything.
