What are people saying about Scotland

Highlands with Russell
Although it was a long trip, Russell made the experience seem quick. He was kind, witty, a great storyteller, and an excellent driver. His knowledge of the Highlands and the history surrounding Scotland were spectacular. I also loved that he used an ice breaker for all sixteen passengers to talk a little about themselves. Were it not for that, we may not have known we were sitting directly in front of a couple who lived ten minutes away from us in the states and who shared mutual friends. Overall, 10/10 stars for Russell and Rabbies.

Good option for those without a car
Efficient way of visiting Isle of Skye if you don't have a car. Comfortable, clean bus and knowledgeable guide. Alex shared many interesting bits of history with us and even gave us tips on where to get the best pics. If you want to maximize your time enjoying the scenery, soaking in the ambiance, and taking pictures, pack a simple lunch or snack to eat on the bus. The food at the stops is not particularly and there can be a wait on sunny days when the busses are full. The return trip is a bit of a letdown--the stops are more for rest room breaks than for sites. So take advantage on the front end.

Totally worth it! Great tour!
Incredible experience, lots of information and sight seeing. Our guide Graeme was very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged. My only thing is that it was too little time in Oban… then again, that’s not the tours fault (we knew beforehand). Don’t spend too much time on lunch, instead grab a quick bite and enjoy as much as you can of this magical place. We did an unplanned stop to see the hairy cows… extra points for that :). The weather was in our favor, lots of sun and nice temperatures. Highly recommended!!!

Stewart you are a star
This was our very first booking, and it could not have been better. Our trip started from Inverness, traveling alongside the majestic Loch Ness through some absolutely incredible scenery. A major highlight was seeing the Glenfinnan Viaduct just as the steam train was passing through—truly magical. We then moved on to Mallaig, where we enjoyed fantastic fish and chips and a leisure stroll through the town.
What really made the trip, though, was our tour guide, Stewart. He was the absolute star of the day! His candour, enthusiasm, and deep knowledge of Scottish culture and history were outstanding. Stewart made our experience truly memorable.

Fantastic choice for Outlander fans as well as causal viewers
This trip was fantastic. It was a last-minute decision, and I'm so glad I did it. Even if you're not a huge Outlander fan, it's worth it because you get to see several castles and some beautiful parts of the countryside. If you are an Outlander fan (as I am) it was truly awesome. Our guide, Esme, was fantastic. She was funny, earthy (but still respectful of the fact that there were children onboard), had plenty of comfort breaks, gave suggestions on where to go, and even walked us into the towns. One of the best guides I've had- and I've taken lots of these types of trips!

Ultimate Highland Experience
If you’re visiting Inverness or the Scottish Highlands, this tour is an absolute must. With such limited time in Scotland, we wanted to experience as much as possible… and this tour exceeded every expectation. We were able to see and learn about so many of the Highlands’ most iconic sights while also gaining a deeper appreciation for Scotland’s rich history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes.
A huge part of what made this experience so memorable was our guide, Martin. His knowledge of Scottish history was incredibly impressive, but what truly set him apart was his personality. He was funny, engaging, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Every stop came with fascinating stories, local insights, and plenty of laughs along the way. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish.
This tour allowed us to accomplish everything we had hoped to see during our short stay, and we left feeling like we had experienced the very best of the Highlands. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a better day.
10/10 highly recommend this tour, and if you have the chance, absolutely request Martin. You won’t regret it! Thanks so much again Martin!!

Long tour. Take this tour!
We had the smaller bus (16 passengers max) which was AWESOME. (I cannot comment on the full-size tour bus, but they looked miserable). Our driver was Jamie. He gave us insight into local lore and also the origins of many sayings (look up “the cold shoulder). True or not, it was hilarious. His playlist was also fantastic, and he shared it at the end of the tour. He stopped just enough times and we had great photo ops. Beware, the tour is LONG, but it’s what we all sign up for. No surprises.
We opted for the Loch Ness cruise and Urquhart Castle tour (THIS IS OPTIONAL - do it! It’s £31). We had a quick lunch at the Clansman Hotel before boarding the cruise. The Cullen skunk and fish & chips were GOOD. As was the raspberry cake.
I’ve always been hesitant of day tours. This one was excellent and worth it!

One word; WOW!
This was an awesome excursion!! The Kelpies and Stirling Castle were fantastic!! We were enthralled with the majestic beauty of the Kelpies and their place in Scottish lore. Stirling Castle didn't disappoint either! The well laid out path throughout the castle made the history more entertaining and we learned much about the history of Scotland. The trip to these two spots was filled with beautiful landscape scenery! Our guide/driver was polite, friendly and knowledgeable!

Wonderful Day Trip to St Andrews.
Really enjoyed our trip to St. Andrews and walking the Old Course and wandering the beach and the village. David H our driver had many greay stories to tell us and provided so much information. Really enjoyed his recommendations for fish n chips and donuts! A superb day trip.

Fantastic trip to Isle of Skye
Sonia was a fantastic guide. She had the right mix of humor, storytelling and history. The beautiful scenery speaks for itself but she added her gift for storytelling which made the whole experience that much better. If I could change one thing it would be to have fewer stops but stay longer at a few like Portree and Eilean Donan Castle.

5/5 - Highly Recommended
Karen, our tour guide, was phenomenal! The tour takes you along breathtaking scenery - along castles and lochs and everything in between. Karen did an excellent job of pointing out the scenery while also driving expertly, so that we didn’t have to worry about it. Bring a camera! There is so much to take in
