What are people saying about Normandy

Normandy D-Day sites
First it was great to me in a small group tour of 7 people. Our guide Victor did a great job! Being we were in a small group, it was very easy to hear him and asking him questions. He also gave us lots of details and history as we drove between each historical site. Just being able to see these sites and imagine what happen here over 80 years ago is still unbelievable. This tour was a day well spent and I highly recommend it. Thanks again to Victor for his great knowledge of the events that happen along the Normandy Beaches.

Outstanding
The guide was fantastic! She shared historical information pertinent to our understanding of the area of Bayeux as well as information about Mont St. Michelle. She paced the tour to accommodate all in the tour. She was very flexible and welcomed questions. We would definitely recommend this tour and guide.

Us Beach Tour
The logistical detail that Axelle provided regarding the whole master plan for the operation is something that I have never been able to glean in all my readings or other Allied invasion history. Also the provision of detailed maps, and the. Pictures of the reality are amazing! It was a great tour…I would do it again in a heartbeat!

An excellent experience!
We took a full day tour of Juno Beach. Pauline, our tour guide, was in a word, fantastic! She was: - well organised, on time, set precise expectations - knowledgeable, answered all our questions - a smooth, driver, even with a standard transmission and a full van - cared that each traveller in the group would have an optimal experience. - her English was fluid, her explanations detailed and informative Well done Pauline, keep it up!

The northern region of Normandy is one of France’s most emblematic, boasting centuries of history, iconic cuisine, and a rich tapestry of cultural heritage. Visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches and World War II sites rank among the most popular Normandy tours, but guided visits can also add depth when checking off must-sees like the Bayeux Tapestry and the Mont St Michel monastery. Beyond the headline acts, exploring Normandy like a local means embracing the slower pace of life: explore the countryside by e-bike or sidecar, stop for a cider tasting amid the orchards, or stroll the waterfront of Honfleur or Deauville.
