What are people saying about Halifax

Pleasant exploration of some Halifax sights
For us it was a worthwhile shore excursion just to see some of the sights outside of the port area. Our guide was very good, a smart and friendly young lady. The Mercedes van we traveled in was top notch. After the excursion, we really enjoyed a meal at the Five Fishermen in Halifax which was the highlight of our day.

If you are on a cruise, take this tour and not the cruise line massive bus. You will thank me
Great communication with us days prior to our tour and the morning of. We knew right where to meet them outside the pier. We left right on time. Our driver and guide, Ron, was outstanding. He shared information about the area as we drove to and from Peggy's cove and his knowlege of the Titanic graves was fasinating. The van was well outfitted and our driver used a headset mic so that everyone could here

This was a fun way to get an overview of Halifax. Halifax is very hilly and this tour made it easy to see Citadel Hill and other areas without walking or driving. The water portion was a great way to see the city from the harbour. The guide was very informative. Highly recommend this tour!

Delightful Evening
Experience and entertainment amazing although it was a-bit cold so dress appropriately if taking a late afternoon cruise. The entertainment was Gary from Barrie wonderful musician and played one of his original songs. There was a lot of toe tapping to the music so you know it was good. The complimentary coffee was greatly appreciated. Hats and gloves would be an asset for a fall evening. Enjoy! Guests were allowed to participate in raising the sails.

Haligonians love to show visitors around their hometown, so there are plenty of Halifax tours. Follow your guide to catch the sunset from Peggy’s Cove, home to what locals say is Canada’s most photographed lighthouse. Or, head to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg or the Fairview Lawn Cemetery, where you can see the graves of 121 Titanic victims. Meanwhile, in Annapolis Valley, guides know where to find the best wineries, and at historic Halifax Harbour, they’ll have you helping a boat crew hoist the sails. Refuel on fresh seafood chowder during a culinary-themed walking tour.
