What are people saying about Athens

Athens is Amazing
Physically demanding but worth it! My husband and I are 75 so the climb up the Acropolis to the Parthenon was exhausting in the 90 degree weather. Afterwords we enjoyed seeing the changing of the guards. Walking through Monistiraki was awesome, the relics are everywhere! Guides were very knowledgeable. Appreciated the bottles of cold water the driver gave us. The small BMW van was very comfortable.

Amazing experience!...
Amazing experience! Meteora is an absolute must-see and one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever visited. The scenery and monasteries are incredible, and the whole trip was very well organised. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Athens who has a free day. It’s a long day, but it’s 100% worth it for such a unique and unforgettable experience.

Walk n talk n learn in Athens tour!
Walk n talk a lot on this Athens tour! We learned so much from our very knowledgeable guide on this tour. Better be in fairly good shape to walk, stand and navigate many flights of stairs. All the historical sights, archeological sites, and museum gave a whole day of memorable experiences.

Our guide Theadore was...
Our guide Theadore was very friendly and funny. He patiently answered countless questions from our group. He tailored the trip somewhat based on when we needed to get back to our hotel. We were very happy with the amount of sights we got to visit. He recommended a very good lunch spot that was delicious and reasonably priced as we were adjacent to Ancient Corinth sight. Overall a great experience. He was unable to escort us through two sites as he was not a licensed guide, however he did suggest certain points of interest to be sure to see as we explored on our own. I think you can request a licensed guide if you want.

Perfect way to see Athens
This was a wonderful experience. The bikes were in great condition. The tour was lovely and went all around the Acropolis so we saw some pretty amazing sites. Neek, our guide, was funny, informative, and just an all around nice guy. The tour took approximately 2.5 hours and we had plenty of stops to get off the bikes and walk around too. He even timed the tour so we were able to see the changing of the guard up close and personal. We felt safe riding through the city. Highly recommend, especially if you are only in the city for a short time.

Great way to see Athens!
Perfect day seeing the sights of Athens. Elias was a great guide and very knowledgeable. It was our first time to Athens and it was so helpful to have this overview of the city. We also got tickets to enter the Acropolis and slopes and got a good explanation of everything we were going to see by Elias before we went in. It’s also a great way to beat the heat and still see the highlights of Athens. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour, I cannot recommend it strongly enough
This was one of the best tour experiences I’ve ever had, and Rina is the reason why.
Over nearly 5 packed hours, she delivered an overwhelming amount of history and mythology in the best possible way. She’s enthusiastic, welcoming, and visibly passionate about her subject in a way that elevates the entire experience. Despite the crowds, she handled a mid-sized group with ease, took questions constantly, and never lost her energy or focus. The mythology and history of each structure came alive in a way no guidebook could replicate. Five stars without hesitation.

Ermis was incredibly...
Ermis was incredibly knowledgeable and provided a lot of context about the history and mythology of the Acropolis and its artifacts. There is no way we would have understood or appreciated the significance of the sites or the excavated items on our own. Truly recommend!

Great your of the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora
This was an excellent tour. Our guide was Ermes who had a very good knowledge of Ancient Greek history- the information was about right- neither too less, nor too much. Ermes was friendly and courteous , plus very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommended this tour to anyone who visits tge Acropolis and the ancient Agora

Great way to see Athens and Sounion in a day
We had one full day to see all the important sites in Athens and this was the way to go! Andreas was professional, interesting, educated, and we got a real sense of day to day life in Athens, not to mention a good historical perspective. He drove safely in a beautiful comfortable car, stopped for lunch at a place he spent his youth near, and was prompt and responsive to any other questions or times we wanted to stop for a viewpoint. I misunderstood the quality and dollar amount "stipend" that lunch included, I would have tried more things on the menu. Also it appeared that this was a place that a bus tour could and did stop, and we would have appreciated and paid for something more private and upscale. Nevertheless, it was a great sunny day and wonderful way to see Athens. Good communication before the excursion also, which always helps. Would recommend!

Exceeded my expectations
I ate breakfast before the 9:30 tour- big mistake!! I couldn’t enjoy all the food they gave us, which included large sesame pretzel type thing, charcuterie with three kinds of homemade sliced meat, feta cheese and a delicious cheddar type cheese, wine and raki, fresh grapes (the best ever- so sweet and fresh they popped when you bit them, a beef sandwich called a slovakia or something like that, and lastly a fried dough covered with honey and cinnamon. We had to walk to each place, so went through many different neighborhoods. Besides these two places, we went to a honey and olive oil tasting and a tasting for Greek liqueurs. In the honey and olive oil place, I bought some honey/based creams. Our guide Micki (Nicki?) spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable and nice. Our group of 8 got along very well. Lots of exercise and good food! It exceeded my expectations
