Relaxing and Great Views!
This was a wonderful tour of area, loved the stops for pictures and our time at the Suspension Bridge was just right. We were there on May 16, 2025 and there was still quite a bit of snow/ice on the side of the road and luckily the sun peeked out so we could enjoy the views. We never felt rushed by our tour guide and we lucked out and saw a bear on the drive back enjoying a flower snack on the side of the road and some mountain goats (bring your binoculars).

The Best Tour out of Ketchikan!!!
I’ve been on many excursions and tours and this one is at the top of the list. You can tell Captain Dave, Bid D, David and the rest of the team really love what they do. They dropped different kinds of crab pots and traps to demonstrate how fishing is done. We saw countless Eagles and other beautiful creatures that all make Alaska what it is. I’d definitely book a tour on the “miracle boat”. You will have to book to find out how it got this nick name.

10/10 - Must for your first Skagway visit! Will was great guide!
We had the absolute best time on this tour and our guide Will was the absolute best! What an honor to be part of his final tour group of the 2025 season. We did White Pass Railway in the morning and then opted for this tour in the afternoon because we had a feeling we’d get to see and explore so much more and BOY, we were right! The stop-and-go style of this tour was perfect for sightseeing and photos ops. Will was a great driver, had a great personality, was very informative and took great photos for us! As expected, the foliage was gorgeous for mid-October and the temps were perfect (not that it mattered too much because the bus was a perfect temperature.) We also got very lucky that the fog lifted just as we arrived at the Welcome to Alaska sign… and the fog returned just as we were leaving. 10/10 - I’d recommend to anyone visiting Skagway for the first time.

You have to spend a...
You have to spend a little bit more time than you would expect in the bus. That being said, Mariah was filled with extensive facts and information about everything you see in the bus along the way. At no time did you ever feel like you just needed to get out of the bus. It's one of the most beautiful drives you could imagine. There was plenty of time to stop for photo ops along the way, at the dog camp, and at the suspension bridge as well as a lake. There was an enjoyable cafe at the suspension bridge, as well as a gift shop. Mariah knew everyone at every stop personally and they were very happy to work with her and take care of her tour members.
