Trieste Bellissima!
Lubos is beyond knowledgeable-he is kind, attentive, a keen listener and proud to share the history of Trieste. He was patient with my husbands reduced sight; adjusted our path for more shade & we enjoyed a luscious coffee with chocolate that was memorable.
Thank you Lubos for your generous spirit in sharing the history and culture of your home. We are truly grateful & hope to return and meet you again.
Ciao🥂

Very informative/interesting tour-with a virtual tour guide!
We unexpectedly found ourselves in Trieste as our cruise itinerary was changed last minute so we went on Viator to look for walking tours and found this one. Very informative with both print as well as audio options and we got to see alot. Only recommendation-advise in Viator that this is a Self guided tour (no actual person/guide) AND thar you can start at any time. When we booked that wasn’t made clear. The link that is sent to download is a little cumbersome (could use a little clearer explanation) but once we started it was great! After the tour we took a bus (less than 2 Euros each way) to see Grotto Gigante about 25 mins up the mountain which was well worthwhile!

Totally worth it
We were glad that we booked this food tour. We were able to see and experience some of the eating spots in the Trieste area with Teresa as our guide. She was delightful, friendly and very knowledgeable about the local eating scene and gave us a bit of the culture of the city. She was very helpful and easy to talk to. My wife and I have been to Italy several times and quite familiar with the language. Trieste was indeed a hidden gem and will visit again and hopefully connect with Teresa to show us around.

So much fun. Katrin could...
So much fun. Katrin could not have been more warm and welcoming. Her love of wine and food was evident. And we learned so much about the history of region and makes its wines so special. The location for the wine tasting was heavenly and the food was paired to perfection. 100/10 do not miss this experience.

A Must Do Experience
Koper Trips was wonderful to work with!! The tour company, as well as our guide, were most receptive and responsive to our needs! Many thanks to them. I would certainly recommend booking with Koper Trips!
The experience was also so worthwhile! We were met right by our cruise port in Trieste, Italy and taken by bus on a scenic ride to Slovenia to see The Postojna Caves and Predjama Castle. The caves were breathtaking! First, we embarked on a train ride and then walked through passages, showcasing gorgeous natural formations of stalagmites and stalactites. The castle is a medieval fortress built into a mountain cliff. With its amazing architecture, it is hard to tell where the cave and castle combine. This trip offers a unique experience and is a must do!

Our guide, Valentina, was...
Our guide, Valentina, was quite knowledgeable and really engaging. Our interests were aligned and she exceeded our expectations. This was our first time to Trieste and the tour was a great start to our 3 days here. We followed her recommendations for other sites, cafes, and restaurants. We weren’t disappointed.

Postojna castle and caves were great!!
The driver Mattjas (wearing glasses) was a great driver and tour guide—explaining points-of-interest and Slovenian cultural information along the way.
The castle was very interesting.
The cave tour—via train and walking—was an unforgettable experience.

Lovely day trip to Slovenia
I thought that we were going on a large coach tour but it turned out that there were only 6 people on the tour which was fine. We had a wonderful guide , Johanas, and he was very knowledgeable and helpful and very good company. Unfortunately the weather was not good when we got to Bled and the fog and mist blocked the views of the scenery but we moved on to Ljubljana and really enjoyed the tour. Finally when we returned to Trieste my son left his camera on the mini bus. fortunately we managed to contact Johanas and he very kindly drove back to Trieste to give my son his camera. He was great about it and I was very impressed with the service. 5 stars from me. Thanks again Johanas. Well done.

Stunning Slovenia 🇸🇮 😍
Dean is a great guide and very informative. He was clearly passionate about Slovenia and it's history. Lake Bled is as beautiful as the pics and was very atmospheric during our visit due to the early morning mist. Do try the delicious traditional custard cake, kremsnita with a strong cup of Slovenian coffee, absolutely yummie! Lubljana is a pretty, chilled capital city featuring picturesque bridges and Lubljana Castle. We tried the local dish, Jota and had plenty of time to walk around taking in the vibes. We hope to return to this beautiful country in the future to visit Piran and other coastal areas. This excursion is highly recommended. Thank you Dean for making our first visit to Slovenia special ♥️

Great service from driver.
Previously went to Lubyana and Lake Bled. These were more interesting. The cave tour was well-managed and the cave itself was awe-inspiring. The castle was an interesting step back in time. The radio phone included allowed self-paced tour without rushing or standing around.
Driver was 5-star. Limited English but I’m trying to practice my Italian so we got along famously. I was able to sit up front which I very much appreciated, since I get carsick. Traffic was light and we had a bit of extra time so he took us on more scenic roads and explained the people, animals and culture a bit.
He was knowledgeable to get us into the venues without long lines, and immediately available when we were ready to leave. We arrived back at the hotel on time.
He’s also a safe and efficient driver.

Serene Slovenia
A beautiful journey to Slovenia. We met the driver at the waterfront and made our way to Lake Bled. Serene is the best word to describe Lake Bled. We had 75-minutes to explore Lake Bled which is ample time to stroll around the lake and enjoy the traditional custard Slovenian cake. We made our way to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. We had about 90minutes which is ample time to stroll the streets of the city. It’s very picturesque.
This is not a guided tour of Slovenia, it is merely a drop off and pick up at each point, however ample history and culture of each place and sites is provided in the drive. I thoroughly enjoyed my time visiting Slovenia. Both places are small and the yo e at each place I felt was lore than ample.

Highly recommended tour with great guide!
Wonderful tour, excellent itinerary, knowledgeable guide, and perfect pacing make for a memorable excursion. Trieste is like how Venice must have been forty years ago before being over-toured. We loved every stop, especially Cafe Tommaseo for cold drinks and appetizers. The Roman Theatre and the grand piazza were other favorites. We learned a great deal about Austria-Hungary roots of the city, which make it unique among Italian towns to tour.
