Highly recommended and well satisfied

Really so many positives that any issues are not worth talking about. Contacted via WhatsApp several times before the trip with pickup info, including time, the vehicle and driver’s name. Very reassuring for our first trip in Morocco and Marrakesh. Younis, our driver gave us a comfortable and safe drive there and back, whilst Ayoub was an excellent guide, speaking fluent English and French. The visit to the Women’s Collective was very pleasant, with a very informative and friendly host. Plus a nice glass of Atay with some dipping bread, yum. Arrived at the base of the tour in Fatma village, quickly met be our guides; I’m sorry I didn’t catch the name of our mountain guides but they are definitely part human, part goat and are a credit to the tour operators with their excellent knowledge and support. But be under no illusion, the hike from Fatma Village to the main waterfall and then the top is no stroll, with a lot of big steps to make but is hugely rewarding at the end. They do give you little breaks and keep the group together. Plus, the way back is somewhat flatter and a lot less challenging. Lunch at Restaurant Le Noyer was very agreeable, local made bread served before my choice of mushroom omelette for starter, then a mixed grill and chocolate mousse to finish. All very tasty and fair portions. Drinks were extra but at MAD 20 (£1.50) for a tin of fizzy orange, but with the waiter and other staff all on point, you will leave this restaurant well satisfied. To summarise, this tour is keenly priced, with excellent comms during and after booking, before the event day and the overall tour is of a excellent standard. Qualifying what I have just said, I will praise excellent customer service and that’s very much what we had here. Definitely book this. 5 stars.

A fantastic day in the Atlas Mountains

We had a really lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed this trip. Our guide, Omar, was lovely – friendly, knowledgeable and told us so much about the area and Moroccan life along the way. It was really interesting and we felt like we got to see and learn a lot. One of the highlights was lunch at Omar’s family home, which felt really personal and gave us a lovely glimpse into local life. The food was delicious too. The whole day was incredibly good value for money – we couldn’t believe how much was included for the price we paid. A really enjoyable and interesting day and a great way to experience the Atlas Mountains outside Marrakesh. We’d definitely recommend it.

Excellent private tour

We were met by Ali at our hotel and he was friendly and knowledgeable from the beginning. Nothing was too much trouble and all questions were answered. He showed all the important locations and was very helpful as my husband was struggling with walking. Mustafa our driver came as near to all locations as possible. A very informative tour and well worth the money. We now know so much more about Marrakesh.

Great value tour!

We thought this was a wonderful tour and worth going for sure. The ride was fine and two stops along the way were good. The food was delicious and the fire show was great. The “music” was fine if you like the Moroccan rhythmic bells and drums isn’t our preference but it was a cultural experience. Our guide Ilias was fantastic and our driver Said was fun too.

Our guide, Ishmael, was incredible and very knowledgeable about the 5 valleys and Atlas Mountains. He had many little factoids to share and a great sense of humor!! Lunch was spectacular in the local home with just my husband and myself…eating a traditional local meal while looking at the mountains. Fatima, at the spot we stopped at for mint tea, demonstrated products used for cosmetics, medicinal uses and for flavoring of foods. She was great with a beautiful smile❤️We’d highly recommend this private tour that will educate you and allow you to tailor your own experience!!!

Long drive but worth it

A long but worthwhile day. The driver Jamal was wonderful and our guide Anas was very good at explaining what would come next. And the surprise at the end of the ride was great. ;). The van was comfortable and well air conditioned and the stop at the cafe about half way was very nice and clean. I had Moroccan pancakes and they were fantastic. The day in Essaouira was lovely -it’s coastal so there is beach and a cool breeze. Then there is the Medina and the old fort. It’s a great way to spend the day.

Perfect Day Trip to Mountains

Lovely full day tour to Atlas Mountains. Fatima was our guide and paced the trip well for everyone. We started with a tra and camel ride stop and then ventured to the Women’s Cooperative in the mountains. There we learned about the Argon nuts and the different techniques to produce cosmetic and consumable argon oil. From there we continued on to Imlil. Here we stopped for a wonderful hike up to the waterfall and a yummy tagine lunch. On the way home we stopped at another Berber village where Fatima talked about the different Berber tribes and the effects of the 2023 earthquake.

Unforgettable!

Mustafa was the perfect host and guide, we had an unforgettable experience, the highlight being the visit to Mustafa’s family home where we met his Mother and were served a beautiful meal. Mustafa was so full of knowledge and interesting information and spoke passionately about his culture. If you want an authentic experience o would highly recommend this trip.

Wonderful sunset dinner and camel ride experience!

My group and I loved this experience SO much! We all agreed it was the highlight of our trip and extremely special. Our tour guide, Hind, was amazingly helpful in making sure we were picked up from the right location, accounted for at all times, and having fun! She took great care of us and wrapped my pashmina at least three times with no complaints. Hind took the best pictures, was friendly to walk to, and let me play music in the car! The camel ride and ATV drive were both very fun. I felt safe, while still letting loose! There were guides along the paths to help with any issues that came up along the ride. Everyone was kind and patient. The dinner included in the excursion was the best Moroccan food I’ve ever had! We made friends with other young people during dinner and hung out with them for the fire show at the end of the night. All my friends agreed that this night was a core memory for us. We could not recommend this excursion more! The price, experience, and hospitality were unbeatable. A MUST DO when traveling to Morocco. Please choose this excursion!

Awesome trip

This was really a full day trip, what I thought was going to be about 4/5 hours turned into a full day. Mustapha who was our host was great, kept in touch before hand with collection details and was there on time, he told us the plan for the day and what to expect. 2st we did the camel ride which was very good and well organised, the camel guys took lots of pics and videos for us and nothing was too much trouble. Then we went off into the hills for lunch and despite being a bit wary of it, it turned out to be delicious, great location looking into the Atlas mountains which still had some snow on them, bright sunny day and good food, was really a great experience. We then drove for a while until we reached the area before the waterfall, after a 30 mins walk/hike we found a fantastic waterfall which was really quite strong. a 30 mins walk back and then the hour or so drive home. If you want to escape the madness of Marrakesh for a few hours I would highly recommend this trip.
