What are people saying about Tangier

Great day trip to beautiful Tangiers!
Aziz 1 and Speedy took us on a great private tour. It’s well paced with some drive by to see town, up through the hills, down to the beach, and lots of walking through the old city and markets. We saw so much of the area and not just one section of town, so really felt like we got a sense of the scenery and the greater area. The markets were fun, and they were very respectful when we let them know we weren’t interested. The camel ride was a highlight for our son and just the right length of time. A note on timing as it’s helpful for planning. We took the 10am tour slot. It means arriving at Tarifa by 9am to take the 10am ferry. There is an hour time change between Tarifa and Tangier, so you’ll arrive in Tangier at 10am their time and you’ll do all the activities with lunch being the last activity of your tour around 2:30pm their time. (Take a snack) You’ll be dropped back to the port at 4pm to catch the 5pm ferry home. But because of that time change, you get back to Tarifa at 7pm Spain time. So trip is 9am to 7pm from Tarifa if you choose the 10am tour slot. Great day, and would book again.

Bring cat food and milk...
Bring cat food and milk for all the starving cats at the cave. I watched a tiny kitten, maybe 3 weeks old just slowly lay down and die. 😢 Bring toilet paper. The ladies sit at the door selling it and got in an argumentwith our guild. He told them he would pay them for us, but I don't think he did, from the sound of their anger. The camel ride was an awesome experience. It was a worthwhile tour. I'm glad I chose this for our stop on a cruise ship.

Great Private, Personalized Guide, Driver, and tour
This tour offers both transportation and walking. This was a very effective way to see so many sights in Tangier. We're a group of 6 adults. We were easily accomodated in their van (not always the case). Our guide Abdul was very personable, knowledgeable, and quite flexible for our interests and his driver was also quite friendly and professional. We were wanted to see certain sights and we were always given a choice about what to do. After a brief van tour around the town, we went to the beach for our camel ride. That was very fun! Afterwards, we visited the Hercules cave, then a small local tea and delicious local snacks (more like brunch). Afterwards, a walking tour thru the markets and, by request, a local handicraft store where we contributed to the local economy! We had time for lunch on our own at a lovely restaurant with local food and then continued our tour, walking thru the old city. This was an excellent value as a private tour for the six of us (vs. the cost of a group tour/excursion from a cruise).

Full day adventure in Tangier
Mohamed was a great tour guy! He showed us so much plus a few quick extras as he is well known and loved in the area. The camel ride was a big highlight for me. The communication with Nigel was excellent and it was an easy pick up/drop off from the ship. The driver had excellent driving/parking skills throughout the tour. Highly recommend!

With bustling souks, ornate Moroccan architecture, and dramatic seaside views where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet, Tangier is a feast for the senses. Tours begin at the Strait of Gibraltar, where you’ll find rugged coastal cliffs and Hercules’ resting cave, before exploring the colorful kasbah and meandering medina. Get a sense of the city’s diverse cultural heritage while a guide points out lavish palaces and vibrant markets for tastings of tagine and pastilla. On full-day Tangier tours, you can ride a camel through the Moroccan desert or admire the Grand Mosque and blue-washed buildings of Chefchaouen.
