Interesting tour. Lots of history. Market square was a lively place as was the Main Street. Would have liked more walking and perhaps a stroll past the cathedral

The leader, Jared, seemed unhappy to be there. There were only four participants. The information was superficial, and when asked of questions he would I say that was not an area he had explored. Simple questions. And clearly not engaged with the participants, couldn’t wait to be done. Other tours are available, I suggest the reader check them out.

Gerald is very knowledgeable about Irish history. He spent extra time with us going into details of Ireland in the last 900 years. It was also nice to have received local recommendations for food and snacks!

However I always tell people to stand close to me over and over again because of the noise in Galway from large crowds , Buskers with microphones and amplifiers . I give a five star tour everytime . This is an excellent exploration of the city of Galway. Gerard, our guide, had superb knowledge of Galway's history, culture, architecture and industry. He brought to life the city's multifaceted history with stories and funny anecdotes and guided us through the lovely cobbled streets with their colourful shop facades and lively pubs and cafés. Gerard was polite, friendly, patient and well able to answer our many questions. This tour is a must if you want to get to know this vibrant city in the west of Ireland.

This is a great walking tour. Our guide Gerard was brilliant at giving us all the relevant information, in a very interesting way. We have visited Galway city many times but this is the first time we took a walking tour and we are so pleased that we chose this one. We would highly recommend it

Amazing tour with Gerard! Very informative, catered the tour based on our questions and things we said were interested. Just as entertaining as it was informative! Would absolutely recommend to anyone - especially on your first day in Galway as he gives excellent recommendations for coffee, pubs, restaurants, etc at the end of your tour.

We ended up having our guide Kathleen all to ourselves which was fabulous. She was very informative about Galway’s history and also gave us some great hints about things to do during our stay. I would highly recommend this walking tour!

Our family enjoyed Gerard's tour very much. It was educational while still being fun - a great combo to win over the kids in the group! He informed us of little details of buildings that we would never have noticed on our own. We even learned a little Irish!
