We had a great time with our guide, Sandy. She got us through the line and onto The Wall with very little waiting. She also knew all the great photo spots! This section of The Wall was stunning with all the fall colors around it and smaller crowds (still plenty packed though)! There’s a nice, fairly easy walking portion between two towers, and then lots of opportunity to walk/climb more difficult sections. It was nice to have options and do what fit us best. The cable car ride is a nice added bonus!

This tour was a pleasant...

This tour was a pleasant surprise! As a solo traveler, I never know what to expect with tours but I’m so glad I booked it. Our guide, Lucy, was very well organized and communicated our schedule clearly. It’s a busy day but it did not feel rushed. I really appreciated having a knowledgeable guide at the Forbidden City for those tidbits of information I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise. I also had enough time at the Great Wall to make it to the 23rd watchtower! The lunch was also delicious with a variety of options for different diets. My one suggestion would be to have breakfast/coffee before the tour because there is no break for food until lunch. Overall, this was a lovely experience and I highly recommend it!

We had a really good time exploring the forbidden city. It's a lot of walking but we made a few stops to here and there to regain some energy. Fantastic two days in Beijing and excellent guide !

I had a brilliant two days with my local guide Bruce and the driver Jin. Bruce made sure the trip was tailored to my needs and wishes - we climbed every hill we could find as I like heights. The food was delicious and recommended. Bruce was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Beijing and China. He helped me with some travel tips and also I was very interested to learn more about Empress Dowager Cixi. I learnt a great deal - the forbidden city was built in 1420! This trip comes highly recommended.

Very memorable day

This was an amazing day. Jerry was our tour guide for this private tour. He picked us up promptly and had driver and very nice vehicle. The driver was exceptional as well. Jerry took us to the Summer Palace first and then to the wall. Jerry explained the history to the Summer Palace and we did not feel rushed as we went through it. Next we went to the wall and took the chair lift up to tower 6. Again, we had all the time we needed and Jerry provided an outstanding history lesson. This was a long day, and being Sunday, it was very crowded, but a wonderful day.
