They canceled the tour two hours before it was supposed to to start. Leaving my family of 15 hanging and not being able to book anything for the day because it was too late

The golf cart was not comfortable for the person in the back where there was only one seat. The guide was Roxanna and she didn’t speak where everyone could hear her comments. Guide was fixated on us getting to the top of a hill to see a cannon go off. It was not important to us and we got the seconds before it went off so really could only hear it. Big waste of time. We weren’t taken to several of the sites listed for the tour and she drove past other sites quickly without stopping so no pictures. We did see Rome and it was a very hot day so riding was a good idea but the execution of the tour was not good. This had been recommended by others but I wouldn’t recommend this company and this guide in particular. Should have had water bottles on the cart instead of stopping to buy snacks and water bottles at Coliseum… waste of time as well.

Very bad experience, my reservation was supposed to be at 9:00pm and after a few minutes I call them to ask about at what time I will be picked up, and they told me they going to contact the driver, they never reached me out and I contacted them again after 30 minutes and they told me the driver never responded to the calls, so I just canceled. Very disappointing because they never reached me out giving me an explanation about the driver delay, I reached out to them all the time. I don’t recommend them at all especially when you're on vacation and your time is precious.

This was such a great experience!! We drove around with Karim for the afternoon and he made our experience amazing- we had about 5 hours in Rome (3 with him) and had never been before so he went off the beaten path a little and showed us the major sites and a few that he loves as well and they didn’t disappoint. I don’t think doing Rome for a cruise stop any other way would give you even half the experience you get doing this! We saw so much and even just getting to drive down the little narrow streets and see those more secluded places was probably my favorite thing. The golf cart can get almost anywhere haha! Karim was so friendly and just fun to hang out with for the day- he was great with our kids too. He also helped us get settled for lunch afterwards and told us how to use the bus back to the train- which sounds minor but when you’re traveling a new foreign city it is so helpful to know the ins and outs from a local. Highly highly recommend doing this tour if you’re in Rome- especially if it’s on a cruise stop!

Saves a lot of walking. Golf carts can get closer to monuments than buses. Driver was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Good driving skills made us feel safe in crazy Rome traffic.

Our family booked the 3 hour golf cart ride for our first evening in Rome. We were exhausted after traveling all night so the convenience of being picked up and dropped off at our apartment made this really convenient. Our host Karim went above and beyond to tailor the sites so we could see so many of the most amazing sites. He included interesting information and stops that were his personal favorites. Racing through the zigzagging side streets felt like the fun of a Vespa but in a way the whole family can enjoy!
The cherry on top was the he even timed sunset to catch from the most advantageous point for the breathtaking view. It felt like we were visiting a friend and got the local inside scoop.

We had such a blast on our golf cart tour with Enzo! He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and made the entire experience so much fun. He showed us parts of Rome that would have been far too difficult or time consuming to see on foot, and it really allowed us to experience so much more of the city.
The basilica and the orange grove were absolutely beautiful, but the highlight for us was definitely the rose garden. It was unbelievably fragrant, colorful, and peaceful, such a hidden gem! Of course, seeing the Colosseum was amazing, but one of the most memorable surprises was the giant Constantine statue. It’s something we are sure we would have completely missed if it weren’t for Enzo.
He truly made the tour special with his knowledge, personality, and ability to show us both the famous sights and the hidden treasures of Rome. Highly recommend!

We have used Viator before and my son has used Viator numerous times and we have always been very happy. This three hour golf cart tour of Rome was downright awful. I would never recommend this to anyone. The Tour guide was not knowledgeable about the history of Rome for starters. Then he did not take us to all the places we were supposed to go. Also, rushed us when we finally got to the Vatican. The two people sitting in the back, could not hear what he was saying. Overall, it was a terrible experience and I would never recommend it to anyone that I know that was going to Rome, not to mention that for the four of us it was a total of over $400.

None of our guides have ever received complaints regarding their historical knowledge, as they do this work with great passion and are well prepared about the monuments and the history of Rome.
Regarding the Vatican stop, the driver may have seemed more rushed at that moment simply because, as you can imagine, there are time limits that must be respected during a 3-hour tour, while still trying to include all the planned stops and accommodate guests’ requests.
As for the guests seated in the back not hearing well, this has honestly never been reported to us before, as previous guests have always been comfortable during the experience. Nevertheless, we truly appreciate this feedback, because it will help us improve the experience even further, including evaluating solutions that may better assist guests with hearing difficulties.

We tried to contact you multiple times to inform you that our driver had unfortunately been involved in a scooter accident while on his way to the golf cart depot before coming to pick you up. We attempted to reach you to delay the tour and find a solution together, but unfortunately we never received a response. As a result, we immediately proceeded with a full refund.

Rome’s historic center is made up of many narrow streets and small alleys, which are part of the city’s authentic character and often necessary to reach iconic landmarks with a golf cart. What started as a stressful situation turned into a truly memorable experience, thanks to the outstanding professionalism of the team behind this tour.
Our cruise port bus departed and arrived later than scheduled, which threw off our entire timing. On top of that, we had trouble locating our guide upon arrival — not the best start! However, once we reached out, tour operator Giacomo Mancini stepped in immediately and rearranged the entire tour to fit our tighter schedule, making sure we'd still make it back to our bus on time.
The golf cart format is honestly perfect for families with young children — no exhausting walks, no stroller struggles, and we bypassed Rome's notorious traffic effortlessly. Our toddler was comfortable the entire time, which made the experience so much more enjoyable for all of us.
We truly appreciate the flexibility and genuine care Giacomo and the team showed to ensure our experience wasn't ruined despite circumstances outside anyone's control. That kind of behind-the-scenes effort — especially when traveling with a little one — means everything.
Highly recommended for families and cruise guests on a tight schedule. Book with confidence!

This was such a fun experience and a great way to see Rome. We took the evening tour with Matteo. He picked us up at our Airbnb and spent an incredible three hours showing us around Rome. He asked what we had already seen and took us to some hidden gems we had missed. We loved it and wish it would have lasted longer!

This tour company cancelled on us late the night before our 9am booking. It was our first day in Rome and we had to completely rearrange our day. They did offer to do it later in the week, but we had a full schedule. It was very frustrating to get a last minute cancellation.

Unfortunately, as we explained in our communication, the cancellation was due to an unexpected technical issue in our garage related to an electrical problem, which prevented us from charging the golf carts overnight. We only became aware of the issue very late in the evening because the vehicles returned from their scheduled tours late at night, and only at that moment were we able to discover that the charging system was not functioning properly.
As soon as we understood that we would not be able to safely operate the tours the following morning, we immediately informed all affected customers and tried to offer alternative solutions, including rescheduling later in the week.
We completely understand how frustrating this was, especially on your first day in Rome, and we are truly very sorry for the impact it had on your plans.

We were a family of 4. Two seniors and two teenagers. Our driver Andre was on time and knowledgeable. He was considerate and pleasant. The complimentary coffee and croissants were much appreciated. The seatbelt in back of the golf cart was not working. Unfortunately our teens did not inform us until well after the experience. Therefore the driver was unaware of the issue.
Most disappointing parts were the following:
One. The Borghese park was closed with no other access to it.
Two. The Trevi fountain was not working, and it was being cleaned by workers.
Three. The Spanish steps were only viewed from the upper area looking downward.
Four. The Church at the top of the Spanish steps was closed..
Five. Did not get to see Piazza Navona.
The cost of the tour did not reflect the experience.
I would recommend tour only if above issues were not present.

Regarding the other points mentioned, unfortunately many of them were related to temporary city conditions completely outside of our control, such as closures, maintenance works, and restricted access areas decided by the city authorities and churches themselves. Sadly, these situations can occasionally happen in Rome, especially during busy periods and restoration works.
Despite this, our drivers always do their best to adapt the itinerary in real time and provide the best possible experience under the circumstances. We truly regret that some iconic locations were not fully accessible during your visit and understand your disappointment.
