Amazing views and so much info about Austria

We had a wonderful day with a two cable car visit to the top of the mountains. The view was amazing and you could see for a long while and all directions. Felt like the top of the world. Great Day in Hallstatt and the Alps

Had a great time on this tour learning about Austria, Salzburg, and the surrounding areas. Fritz was a great guide. Our tour was a mix of people going to Hallstatt for a half day and people splitting time between Hallstatt and the Five Fingers. I originally signed up for the half day in Hallstatt, but after hearing about the Five Fingers, Fritz let me join that group instead. Hallstatt was great, but going up to the top of the mountain and looking out over the surrounding peaks and valleys on a beautiful day was the right call. And 2 hours in Hallstatt instead of 4 hours was more than enough for me. Great trip and great guide. I highly recommend.

Our trip to the Eagle’s Nest in Berchtesgaden was unforgettable. The views from the top were crazy. The snow storm a couple days before made it an even more incredible experience. Our guide Alenka was great. Everything was well organized, from the scenic bus ride to the famous brass elevator. Berchtesgaden itself was fun with a nice beer garden and plenty of places to see. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Germany and a place we would highly recommend visiting

Amazing experience

I read the reviews and it seemed like the best option was Golden VIP and our experience confirmed it. The food was amazing (I don’t like creamy soups but the white wine soup was excellent). We were provided a drink to start, a bottle of wine for dinner, coffee or tea during dessert and prosecco during the concert intermission. And the concert!!! I expected a solid performance but it was better than expected. The music was played perfectly and the little moments of humor really completed the show. As for the heat, yes it gets pretty warm during the concert so be prepared to lose your jacket and stand by the windows during the intermission.

What a spectacular performance! The artists’ depth and quality was astounding! It was as though the instruments were talking to each other through a musical storytelling. Johannes, our guide, was really knowledgeable. He took the time to bring us around and shared the history of the area, as well as lives of the people living there now. He brought us to a beautiful viewpoint for a photo, as well as recommended a cosy local shop for some schnapps. It was a nice surprise, considering I was only expecting to be brought to the salt mine. My husband and I really enjoyed the trip and will definitely love to bring our children for the trip in the future!
