Fantastic tour - a must see!!
We went to Giverny in April when all the flowers were in bloom and it was just gorgeous. The tour was very well done – the bus was beautiful and clean and the tour guides were amazing and gave us all kinds of really interesting information on the ride there. We enjoyed it greatly. My only advice is that if you spend a lot of time in the house in gardens, there’s not much time to get food so getting a Takeaway sandwich or something is probably best.

Theo, our guide, gave us...
Theo, our guide, gave us good advice on how to prioritize our viewing of the main parts of Giverny, so we saw the iconic bridge first, when there were fewer people around. The experience was all I hoped it would be, the flower gardens were lovely.

All the stress of getting...
All the stress of getting to Giverny was eliminated and tickets and were taken care of. The pick up was on time. A very lovely, comfortable ride. Frederick provided wonderful information on the way to Giverny. A different driver provided the ride back.

People walking between green plants at Giverny during daytime, Paris
  • A Giverny tour is ideal for art enthusiasts, especially impressionism fans.

  • The journey to Giverny, along the banks of the Seine River and through the sunflower fields of Normandy, is almost as good as the destination.

  • There are no ATMs or currency exchange bureaus in the village, so be sure to bring cash.

  • Although hotels are available, the village's small size means availability is limited, so most people visit on day trips from Paris. Make sure to book in advance if you plan on staying overnight.

  • Giverny and Monet's Garden are partly accessible for wheelchair users although Monet's House is not.
