Excellent Tour

This was a great afternoon spent in the Champagne region visting villages & local winegrowers who are more than willing to share their knowledge & passion of Champagne. Our guide Suzanne was excellent, she is a local french woman who spoke very good English, had a good sense of humour & a working knowledge of the Champagne. It was good to be in a small group (max of 8) and my husband who doesnt drink champagne really enjoyed this tour & said he'd recommend it. Tips be prepared for the weather eg hat & sunblock if hot + take water/drink & snacks as their isn't any available on the tour other than 6 glasses of very delicious champagne.

Perfect end to a great trip

Amazing experience with Adam. Really enjoyed the two Champagne houses and going to the church where Dom Perignon was buried. We toured the larger Champagne houses the day before in Reims (Veuve and Tattinger) so it was nice to end our four day trip with something more intimate like this small group Sparkling tour with Adam. He is very knowledgeable and eager to share his knowledge of Champagne. Highly recommend.

Wonderful champagne experience, starting at the House of Veuve Clicquot, then out into surrounding countryside for a delicious lunch, more champagne tastings and finally to a small family run winery with plenty of opportunities to sample more and buy. AMAZING!!!! Highly recommend!!!

Radames was AMAZING!!! Very knowledgeable about the Champagne region and how Champagne is produced. I learned a lot from him. Towards the end of our first tasting, I could feel the beginnings of my sugar dropping. When we got to our lunch spot, he was very quick to make sure that I got the Coke I ordered to help raise my sugar. He was a wonderful translator between us and the growers (and lunch spot) we visited. He was also very prompt with keeping us on schedule. I hope upon my next return to France that I will be able to take a different tour with him. 100/10 would recommend.

Great food and Champagne day tour-can’t be beat.

I loved being able to support local small growers and producers of great Champagne. The tour was a small group interested in not just tasting, but the history and how Champagne is produced. We had a relaxing time visiting the areas and the varieties of tastings provided valuable compare and contrast information. And the treat was the wonderful lunch at Le Theatre at Place Pierre Mendes France in Epernay. What a nice addition to the tour.

The half day champagne tour begins in Epernay. Mr G the guide and driver, spent some time at the start getting to know how much we already knew about champagne and what our interests were for the tour. This meant he was able to tailor what he spoke about and other aspects to us. We drove around the area learning of the vineyards and champagne process as well as visiting 2 champagne houses for tastings. It was really enjoyable and informative. We visited small houses with excellent champagne and tried a wide variety of types.

Tomas, our tour guide, was professional and very knowledgeable. Tomas answered all our questions as he informed us about the champagne region. I enjoyed seeing the operations of a large house such as Mumm and then the operations/cellars of Collard-Milesi and the Picalt-Thiout. Lunch was delicious.
