Very entertaining from...

Very entertaining from the moment we arrived as well as informative about sumo wrestling and the geikos. There was also plenty of good food and drinks. Staff were great, and sumo Kyohikari was great fun with the audience as well as the crowd participants. The photo opportunities were great as well. Highlight of our trip so far.

Knife forging with my sons.

This had to have been one of the best experiences I have ever had in my life. My family are welders by trade and forging a knife from a piece of metal was out of this world. We started with a piece of High carbon steel and hammered away for a few hours to shape it into a knife. We then sharpened it and polished it as best we could. At the end we’re taking home a hand made knife my sons and I made. Couldn’t have asked for a better day. I do want to say. It’s not so easy to do but after it’s all said and done and your forearm is hurting from hammering away. You go away feeling proud you did it. Ako and Atsu were beasts hammering away and helping us. Just a great experience. Just an fyi. We then paid almost 200 dollars for Japanese knife so making my own for a bit over 100. Can’t get better than that.

This was a FANTASTIC tour. Minori our guide was hilarious, thoughtful and very knowledgeable. We appreciated the balance of being guided and free time. This was a unique cultural experience and well worth the exhaustion at the end of the day. FYI, the directions for taking the train from Osaka were easy and flawless!! We highly recommend this tour!

Great tour of Kyoto with Yuhey

Fantastic tour with Yuhey and highly recommend him for your first visit to Kyoto. It was great getting picked up at the hotel and driven to multiple difference temples and shrines. Yuhey was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The car rides between stops were fun and we discussed people, music and cultural differences. I learned a lot and another huge perk was he is a fantastic photographer. We have over a 100 really cool pictures from all over Kyoto. We had such a good time we rebooked with Yuhey for Nara or Osaka.

Kyoto Great Food

Our tour guide Paris was impressive, offering rich insights into Kyoto’s history and guiding us to several excellent restaurants. The meals were abundant and delicious; we arrived hungry but left full. We enjoyed the conversations with Paris and the two other couples on the tour, making it a memorable experience. I would strongly recommend this food tour.

a big day, 14 hrs from Osaka, but interesting to see Hiroshima and Minyama island. Our guide Chika was amazing, explained in good english where we where and the historical significance of each site. The downside was the crowds, too many to enjoy the peace memorial, minyama island and peace park.

Fun, interactive cooking class!

Fun interactive cooking class where you actually cook your own meal! This was a super fun course where we learned a lot about Japanese ramen’s history as well as the ingredients that make it delicious. The instructor, Elsa, was informative as well as adorable in getting to know each of us during our session.
