Perfect Intro to Istanbul

Hilal was a treat! We were heavily jet lagged for our tour and she kindly offered to shift the start time by an hour the night before to give us more sleep. Then, she started the tour with special history unique to our hotel and neighborhood! As we continued through the day, she regularly called out parts of museums we should skip to give time for more special items and views later on. This approach was new for us, but we quickly learned how right she was! I wish we had another day (less jet lagged) where we could ask her questions and learn from her guidance. Truly a unique and wonderful experience, and a must do for your first time in Istanbul!

Excellent guide makes it aesy

We had an excellent experience in Istanbul with a help of our guide Berkcan. He picked us up from the cruise port and went on to the old town. We visited all the important sites. At each place, he gave us good summary of history and where to go and take photos. Even with a long line, he managed to help us move quickly. We had a lunch together at a local restaurant and had a good conversation. He did not push us to buy anything, actually he suggested not buying anything in the old town. I got his contact info so I can ask his guide next time when I visited Istanbul again with grandkids.

★★★★★ The best way to see Istanbul, with Fettah as your guide We spent a full day with Fettah seeing Istanbul's greatest sites, from the Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia to the Basilica Cistern, the Grand Bazaar, Topkapı Palace, and the Spice Market. He made us feel like friends he was proud to show his city to rather than just a tour group. Fettah is engaging and very knowledgeable. He made the history come alive and answered every question we had. He also changed the tour to fit what we wanted to see, and let us spend more or less time at each site. That flexibility made the day feel personal. We can't imagine a better guide.

Betul was a wonderful...

Betul was a wonderful guide with so much knowledge that she shared in a very enthusiastic way. She created realistic expectations for the way the day would go and worked around what I was most interested in seeing and not at all pushy towards anything I didn’t show interest in (like shopping). She found me a delicious place for lunch and kept me comfortable all day long. She is very smart, friendly and thoughtful and I would recommend her to anyone. Best intro to Istanbul and Turkish cuisine!

We took the Yummy Foods tour with Ali and he was a fantastic guide! Very personable, knowledgeable, and organized. We started off with a traditional Turkish breakfast and tour of the Spice Bazaar which was a good crash course to help us navigate the rest of our Turkey trip. We followed it up with an Iskander kebab, sweet and savory pastries, stuffed mussels, Turkish ice cream, and more. I was full by the end of the tour! I enjoyed the opportunity to take the ferry across the Bosphorus to tour the Asian side of Istanbul. Without a guide, I wouldn’t know where to go. This was the first activity we did when we landed in Turkey and the perfect way to kick off the trip to understand Turkish cuisine.

Great Airport Transfer Servive

Murat was wonderful! The Istanbul airport was very busy and is large. I was traveling by myself so I was a bit anxious arriving later at night. Murat sent me a video of my route to the correct exit. It made it easy! He was waiting for me and escorted me to the driver who was also terrific. Somehow he thought I was at a different hotel but took me the the correct one with no issues. I highly recommend Saw and Murat!

Excellent tour

An excellent tour all round and we spent plenty time at each place. Our tour guide Elif was so engaging and funny as well as having a great grasp of the history of each site. And had extra headscarves for the ladies for the Blue Mosque visit. The only disappointment was that the Hagia Sophia ( which has been a dream of mine for many years) was covered both inside and out with scaffolding and will be for decades to come. But Elif still took us to the important places inside it Highly recommended all round.

Fun! Fun! Fun!

From start to finish this tour kept us engaged in entertainment, food and scenery. It was more then worth it. The pictures and albums they sold were a bit pricey but a good souvenoir if you buy them, which everyone usually does because it's a memory. Belly Dancing with a half-naked woman; would keep your kid's eyes closed! Was fun overall; and of course everyone went dancing together at the end !

An oasis of peace

Just entering a place that is over 550 years old and being able to experience it is like a fairy tale; if you then find kindness, competence, cleanliness, and relaxation, it is the best. I went without a reservation on a weekday afternoon, they welcomed me without any problems and presented me with the different options: I chose the classic hammam, with a scrub and soap bath with massage, which, performed with competence and dedication by the hands of Bahriye, were a mix of relaxation to free the body and mind and toning of muscles tired after wandering around Istanbul. A gem to complete a short stay in this wonderful city!! Very well done!!!

My husband and I...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Cam, was punctual, engaging, interesting and very knowledgeable. We gained so much more from seeing these sites with Cam such as local insight, good photo spots, being able to ask questions of areas of interest etc. Without a doubt, I would recommend this tour to anyone. Beautiful

It was a lovely evening; the Bosphorus is gorgeous. Great snacks and the tour guide was easy to understand and provided a lot of good information. The seats in the front of the boat are best - take a jacket and wear closed shoes this time of year! Also the transportation staff (hotel transfer) were friendly and professional.
