All Izmir Tours & Excursions in 2026

This half day tour went above and beyond my expectations. Erman was a very knowledgeable guide, the pace was perfect (not too fast or slow) and the museum show was a big highlight for me. As a solo traveller in Türkiye during the low tourist season, I also appreciated that the tour went ahead even though it was only me registered.

A perfect way to see the unbelievably well preserved city of Ephesus. Erman was a very friendly guide and had endless knowledge of all the history surrounding these sites. The ride was quick and comfortable and the lunch was very good as well. I highly recommend this tour when in Izmir!

Emre was such an amazing guide and made our experience for the day! We opted to take a day trip from Istanbul and were so happy that we did! We arranged our flights for the early morning and gave ourselves enough time afterward (though you might contact them if you haven't booked flights to see what they recommend as we were in the airport with hours to spare). We loved visiting the sites and Emre made sure that we saw the most important things and explaining why and their significance. If you are a Christian, this is an absolute pilgrimage and so worth going. Turkey is super underrated and I can't wait to go back. We had a lovely lunch at a local rug factor and I would genuinely be interested as they had decent prices in December but we just bought our flat and didn't know what we needed. I'm so happy that we did this day trip and it was such a good value for the guide and the driver. Ephesus was also something I will never forget! It was great learning about its history, what they are currently working on to unveil the site, and its importance in history.

WOWOW! What a tour!!! Asli very generously picked us up from the airport with our great driver, (who introduced himself as, "Boss"), and took us straight from Izmir to our day in Ephesus. On the way, she shared tons of details about the region, and was *so* accommodating to our needs—even flipping the schedule to let us have lunch upon arrival. Asli made sure to pack our time with as much information and history as she could, and she did so from a place of deep love and enthusiasm. Ephesus was hands down the most interesting place my husband and I have ever visited, and it was all thanks to Asli's vast knowledge and passion for the region. We are so lucky to now call Asli a friend of ours, and would recommend her tour to ANYONE!!! Please book this tour if you are visiting Izmir and Ephesus!!!

10/10. The host was phenomenal in explaining the history, the variety in activities throughout the day between the ruins, witnessing a carpet/textile site near the ruins, lunch and then finishing in Sirince made for a phenomenal day. Must do activity when you’re in Izmir

Perfect sized tour of the ancient city of Ephesus, well worth the flight from Istanbul to Izmir and onto Ephesus. A visit to the House where the Virgin Mary lived out her last days, and then a great tour of Ephesus, a thriving city back in ancient times. The Temple of Artemis, one of the Ancient wonders is no longer there but what remains gives you a scale of the glory in ancient times. Our guide was great and knowledgeable, allowing stops to make sure no one was too exhausted given the heat. Overall excellent tour!

A thoroughly enjoyable day out. Ephesus is so far beyond what I expected. The line ups were quite long for Mary’s house, but that is unavoidable. Our Turkish lunch was also a lovely treat - plentiful, varied and delicious. Firah (sp?) was an excellent and personable guide. Overall, a wonderful experience.

This was an incredible day! I can’t say enough wonderful things about our guide, Alperen! He was so informative and enthusiastic about our day plans. The ruins were majestic and the Pamukkale pools were breathtaking. There was ample time at each location. Temperatures were nice, but if you are going in July and August be sure to bring an umbrella and water. This is a 10/10!!!
