This is a wonderful way to see a lot of what Iceland has to offer. We were amazed at how much we were able to see in this amount of time.

It was cold and rainy but Totally Worth it!! The national park, huge waterfall, geyser, and crater lake were all one of a kind. Sergio kept us informed and entertained with icelandic history, lore, and culture. Bring waterproof rain gear, and be prepared for mother nature at her finest!

The passenger bus was comfortable and plenty of room. The driver, Oin, was great. He explained all sites in detail and was very courteous.

The tour and guide were phenomenal. Unfortunately, the company, Artic Adventurers had trouble with at least 2 vehicles. Therefore, we waited over an hour for the trip to begin. We only learned the issue when I called them. No one contacted us. The tour, thankfully was worth the wait with so much incredible beauty to behold!

It is a trip with long on the vehicle in between places (sometimes 45 min or 60 min). It will take the whole afternoon until evening to finish it. You get to see marvelous places very unique and worth while. Guide was very knowledgeable, a true local born and raised in Iceland.

Great itinerary and our driver was excellent and very knowledgeable. Highlights of the tour was the Thingvellir National Park where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates are separating as well as the Geysir site.

Great way to see the sights on the Southern half of Iceland—an impressive geyser, crater, waterfall, and lakes. Edgar, are driver and host, was knowledgeable and funny. He shared a lot of information with us.

Iceland is beautiful, the sites were interesting. Our driver was pleasant, but she was not a guide. She tried giving us some information while driving, but the microphone/speaker system didn’t work. The music that played at other times was loud and clear. She didn’t get off the bus with us, just pointed which way to go. There was an unscheduled stop for ice cream that most of where unaware of since we couldn’t hear her, which delayed our return.

We had wonderful day seeing the geological features near Reykjavik. Arthur was a terrific guide giving us local and historic insights to the countryside. Plenty of time at each site and scenic views traveling from place to place. Highly recommend!

Horrible experience and would not recommend this company. Obviously it’s not the spots or scenery but it’s the guide/driver that makes or breaks the experience. Mt guide had no concept of time or that people may have other plans after this tour. He went over by an hour and fifteen minutes and tried to justify that that’s how it is . I had to show him the written info from the company to prove that he ran over by a lot. I had to spend 22k isk because of this to make it to my next spot. I reached out to the company to make things right and they gave me a general corporate answer. My trip felt stressful because I kept looking at the clock and then calling to my next activity which was also paid for to see if they can wait. In the stress I forgot a bag in the bus and I called them about that and again no response. The company is arctic adventures. I would not pick them again. Try bus travel or nordur—- way better guides.

This tour was fantastic! Exactly what we were hoping for. We wanted to be able to do the Golden Circle the day we landed and this was the best option and just the right amount of time. We thought it was the perfect amount of time at each stop also. Our guide was great. She read us popular folklore and stories from Iceland during our drives from place to place and told us so many interesting things about how people live in Iceland. Highly recommend this tour!

The bus mini-bus was at the Hotel at the appointed time to pick us up. The driver spoke very good English and was very good at describing buildings, the area and historical facts. We saw what we wanted to see. The weather was on the damp (sometimes heavy rain)side, but everyone was dressed properly for the weather. It was a very nice tour.

My family and I loved this tour! We got to see everything and didn’t care about the rainy weather. Each destination was breathtaking. We also absolutely loved Magnus as our tour guide. He was insightful, engaging and humorous.

I did the half day Golden Circle tour on Friday 7/31. We were given instructions to wait at the church, which we did. We arrived early. We inquired with other tour buses to see if any of them were our tour. Our driver eventually parked behind other buses and yelled out our group name. As we approached, her first comment/introduction to us was “you should be at the bus stop area.”
Driver Wendy was rude, drove like a bat out of h*ll, and was a negative Nancy throughout the afternoon. I would never recommend Wendy as a tour guide, she is poorly suited for the role.

It was nice to be in a smaller bus. I just would have preferred to get more time at each stop. It was very rushed to see each stop. I would have preferred that tour to be longer so that we could get a pit an hour at each stop. Our tour guide was very nice but wish they gave us more history and information about Iceland.

van was not in poor shape and dirty. Driver shared information about iceland but did not tell about things we were passing by. The rainy day did not help our activities but she did not turn the ventilation on high therefore the windows were fogged up the whole time. My daughter reminded her to put the fan on high at the beginning which she did but did not use it other times. I should have paid more money and had a bus that I would see out of.

Tour was poorly organized, our guide Peter was more of a driver than a guide, barely interacted with us, was not sure of the facts of places we were visiting. Our tour was scheduled to start at noon, we were driving around picking people until 1:13pm, driver did not explain what was happening, had to ask.
The stops were supposed to last 30-40 min, each stop was 20 min at a site, not enough time to see and walk around the sites. Addressed this with driver and showed the itinerary of the tour from their website, he said he was following his instructions and those 40 min stops were for full day tours, the itinerary was a screen shot for the half day tour, or its a mis-advertisement. It was such a bad experience, i asked for 50% refund, viator responded that operator denied it, they did not deliver what was promised, i thought it was fair to compensate us.
