What are people saying about Bologna

Luca is a wonderful chef and guide
This was a cooking experience for pasta and tiramisu. We got to make two different types of pasta. Luca was the best guide to show us how to use the pasta machine and make the tiramisu. It was fun to sit with our other students to eat the results of our work. We had a fabulous time!

Take a tour with a local when you arrive
Our tour guide , Vera , was wonderful. I love starting my visit to a new city with a tour from a local tour guide. Vera was very knowledgeable and passionate about Bologna. We walked the main streets and back alleys…cathedrals, public squares, government and religious buildings plus THE TOWERS and their history. We visited a grocery story and neighborhood restaurant. And she was very generous with her time and suggestions for future things to do.

Cooking with class in Bologna
Cooking a traditional dish in Bologna was a highlight of our visit. The staff was wonderful and witty. The instructions clear and patient. We absolutely loved the class and meeting other travelers. It was like a big family gathering. Highly recommend this experience.

Wonderful foody day!
Loved the entire day. It was educational and tasty! I loved learning how Parmesan, Balsamic vinegar, and sparkling Lambrusco are produced. The guides at each venue we visited were gracious and very informative. Each venue provided generous and delicious tastings at the end of each tour of the production facilities. Lunch, which included a wide variety of delicious regional dishes, was fantastic and oh so filling! Valentina, our guide for the day, was excellent! She shared knowledge of the geography and history of the region that contributed to the production of the products we tasted, as well as the foods common in this region and those we had at lunch. Consequently, I would highly recommend this tour to any foodies visiting Bologna!
