In this private sightseeing jeep tour, we will drive to þórsmörk from Hvolsvöllur, there are many river crossings on our way there. We will stop at gígjökull and admire it's beauty and see how the eruption in 2010 affect it the area. We will hike in to stakkholtsgjá (canyon) before we visit básar and walk around. Þórsmörk tour is a great day were you can get a fun time in the car river crossing and hiking in a beautiful surroundings. If you are not a hiker, we can skip the hike and just drive around the area.

This is part of the adventure. When we arrive at the base of the glacier in the middle of the Icelandic wilderness, we will explore ice caves, and hike around a little on the glacier. After that we drive to Hjorleifshofdi, a deserted black sand beach. We only focus on small groups, with a more personal service. We spend as much time as is possible on the glacier giving you the chance to really take in this once in a lifetime opportunity.
