A Perfect Day Trip from Vancouver

This tour exceeded my expectations! Martin was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about sharing the history and highlights of the area. I learned so much throughout the day, and he made the experience both informative and fun. The coach was comfortable and spacious, with reclining seats and charging ports, which were perfect for keeping my phone ready for all the photos. One thing I especially appreciated was that Martin happily stepped in as our photographer at different stops, making sure we captured some wonderful memories on our own phones. Although it was a long day, every minute was worth it. The guided portions were excellent, and there was plenty of free time to explore both Victoria and the beautiful Butchart Gardens at our own pace. The ferry ride to and from Vancouver was relaxing, with spectacular scenery along the way and plenty of food options available onboard. If you're visiting Vancouver and want to experience Victoria and Butchart Gardens in a stress-free way, I highly recommend this tour. It was one of the highlights of my trip!

Fantastic Butchart Gardens + Victoria excursion!

Great experience, but long day. Left at 8:20am from Canada Place and we didn't return until shortly after 10pm. Plenty of time to explore Butchart Gardens but could have used more time to explore Victoria. Bus and ferry travel took up almost more time than sight seeing but still well worth it! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating!

If you are lucky enough to have Alex MacDougall as your coach driver and tour guide you are in for an extra special trip! The day of our trip was rainy and cloudy all day but the depth of the information that Alex provided us along with the history and stories about where we were going more than made up for the dreary weather. Shannon falls was beautiful and I particularly enjoyed the sea to sky gondola ride.

Senior who experienced stiff hips after walking so many stairs.

Go early before it gets busy. The tree bridges get back to back people which ruin the beauty of the pictures. Don’t go on a weekend. Lots of stairs. If you have issues with knees or hips don’t go. They do offer senior discounts. It’s a majestic place. They have outstanding ice cream! Also have a great restaurant. If you drive you will pay $9.00 to park across the street.

Lovely day out..

We had a fabulous experience on the Sea to Sky Gondola tour! Our driver, Eion, was amazing. He kept us safe throughout the trip and was very informative. While he’s not a tour guide, he provided a wonderful narrative experience that made the journey even more enjoyable. Our first stop was Shannon Falls, which was beautiful. We then headed to the Sea to Sky Gondola. Once we reached the top, the views were absolutely incredible! There is a restaurant area and a small suspension bridge to walk across. We spent about 1.5 hours there, which was the perfect amount of time to take everything in. After that, we drove to Whistler and stopped in Whistler Village. It’s a very pretty place with lots of shops and restaurants. We spent three hours there, which I personally felt was a little long, but if you’re a shopper, you’ll probably love it. I can also imagine it would be an amazing experience in the winter watching all the skiers. Overall, it was a fantastic day, and I highly recommend this tour. And if you get Eion as your driver, that’s definitely a bonus!

This is a wonderful way to gain an extensive overview of Vancouver. A lot of history, interesting facts, and stops at the key sites! Our tour guide, Em, was outstanding. The totem poles at Stanley Park were most interesting and the Market variety & size were impressive! Visiting downtown during the FIFA World Cup, and seeing the excitement, was exhilarating. Weather is beautiful as is the city. Thoroughly enjoyable & we highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous day tour

If you have limited time in Vancouver, this is the best way to visit Vancouver island and the Butchart gardens. The pick up, bus trip and ferry crossing was seamless and went according to schedule. The only delay was the slightly late arrival of the ferry into Victoria. It would be a huge challenge to do this trip on public transport. It was a very long day but totally worth it. My other recommendation would be to stay on the island for a few nights, such as beautiful place.
