Great small group tour of Vancouver highlights. Extra time spent at Stanley Park, Granville Island Public Market, and Gastown were definitely worthwhile. And the gelato stop was an added perk. Tour operator Mike Lawrence is a wealth of knowledge, and it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.

Awesome experience! Bob...
Awesome experience! Bob is far more than an experienced tour guide. His connections to the community take this tour to a whole other level. Not only can he explain the historical context behind an old black and white photo in the museum but then he pointed out his uncle and the personal context associated with it. This happened through out the tour. He seemed to know everything and everyone in Chinatown. As far as the food...you will end the tour well fed and very content. A very nice selection of food experiences. I would do this tour again!

Fantastic Way to Learn About Vancouver
Rather than a ghost tour, it was more of a historical tour, but still fun and very worth our time. Our guide personalized the narrative in a way that made it really engaging. We learned a lot about Vancouver and heard a few spooky tidbits to boot. Vanessa was incredible. it was cold and raining, but she stayed 100% committed to her character and gave it her all. Total respect for her abilities as an actress and the level of professionalism she displayed. She was also great at improvising, which created several fun interactions with the participants. Totally recommend this activity as a cool way to explore a historic part of Vancouver and to learn more about its past.

Worth every minute and dollar
Our guide Zack was fun, friendly, and full of interesting stories! It felt like we got from an official Vancouver ambassador! This was the best way to get to know a city. We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour and highly recommend it! If we ever return with family and/or friends, we will take this tour again and will ask for Zack!

Great way to try different foods and learn about Gastown’s history
A wonderful way to try different cuisines in the Gastown area and learn about this area’s history. The foods included Japanese
chicken karaage, Norwegian waffles, French potatoe dish, Italian pasta and more. We also got some alcoholic drinks as a part of the meals, either a local brewed beer or a locally sourced wine. Of course there are nonalcoholic choices too. In addition we ended up going to one of the restaurants the following day for dinner. We really enjoyed our tour guide, Connor. Great choice for 3 hours in Vancouver.

Great for first-time visitors!
Great way to see Vancouver and learn some history and interesting facts! Zach was an excellent tour guide! We took multiple stops/breaks along the way to sight-see and learn something new. From the beach, to the Seawall, to Stanley Park - it was about an 8-9 mile ride and is probably good if you've at least biked a little before. Wouldn't have started off my Vancouver visit any other way!

A terrific tour! I wish I could give the tour a higher rating,
Our tour guide, Derek was exceptional. Derek prepped the participants on the way to each destination. He explained what to expect, where to go, and when to regroup.
The tour was a great way to explore Vancouver.

Vancouver tour of the city
This excursion was great! Greg our tour guide was friendly, informative and took us to see a great part of Vancouver. He was so accommodating, took care of our luggage and showed us around the city and its beautiful sights. He was very knowledgeable about the city.

As a tourist visiting...
As a tourist visiting Vancouver, I wouldn't know any other way to see Victoria and see The Butchart Gardens other than taking a tour. However, I don't think I would recommend it. It would be better to spend a couple of days in Victoria to enjoy it's charm. If you only have the day from Vancouver, than this might be the only option. The sights in Victoria, the walking tour, and the Gardens were very nice, but as I mentioned there is too much driving and wait time. We left Vancouver at 8am and got to the ferry pier by 8:50, but we were scheduled on the 10am ferry so we killed an hour at the ferry terminal. On the way back, in Victoria, we arrived at the ferry terminal before 6pm, but had to wait for the 7pm ferry. When you add up the travel and wait time, you wind up with 7+ hours of wait, ferry, and drive time, about an hour+ of driving around Victoria, and a few hours to walk Victoria and see the gardens. It was an exhausting day and I wouldn't do it again, but not because of the tour or the guide, but because now that I know, I would spend a couple of days in Victoria instead of the tour.

Over the top
Josh, our captain/ guide, is extremely knowledgeable and upfront about what you may or may not see. We were thrilled not only with the orcas & humpbacks we saw, but sea lions, harbor seals, ravens, brown pelicans, blue herons- we saw it all. And learned quite a bit about not only these animals, but the entire area and animals we didn’t see. All that plus an exciting ride across the open water in a Zodiac. Definitely a must do if you’re in Victoria

The perfect day trip to Vancouver Island!
This tour is perfect! We had Dan as our tour guide and he was incredible. He has so much knowledge of the area, kept us up to date with the times and activities throughout the day and was very considerate of all guests on board. He told us where each washroom was, where the best place to grab a bite was and other tips about each place. We had 2 hours at the gardens and 1.5hrs in downtown Victoria which was ample amount of time for both. We chose to eat lunch and dinner on the ferry over to maximise our time and that worked really well. We had a fantastic day and we would love to commend Dan for his service and knowledge 😊 thank you so much!!

Beat the heat; gorgeous boat tour with photo-ops
Having a one year old granddaughter in hand, her mom and I needed a comfortable tour to beat the heat of walking the sea wall. Amazingly, as we searched on Viator, we found the cruise dock was at Denway, only fifty yards away.
Visibility, wind and waves were all great (I’m an avid sailor) so we boarded. The lower deck was spacious and great for baby’s stroller; the bar drinks and snacks were exploited for the grownups.
The photo ops were outstanding even from inside, because the windows were large, clean and crystal clear.
The bow and upper deck gave good vantage points for the camera.
There was a canned commentary on the history of Gastown and the north Vancouver dry docks plus sulfur pile.
The crew were good about pointing out the basking harbor seals and other sights.
Boat motion was very acceptable even for non-sailors, and the circular tour returned on time.
Could we have saved money either the $3 Seabus? No, it didn’t run across the harbor during our tour.
The tour was a godsend when carrying a baby in the heat — and in any reasonable weather conditions, we would recommend for all.
