OMG! Started out a little iffy but time tells. We had an incredible time and our driver is what made it all. He was so kind, so helpful and turned what we were unsure of to best tour yet. This tour was self guided so no actual tour guide which we did not know so please read all info thoroughly. We highly recommend this driver over and over. Good man! Leonidas if we recall was his name.

Excellent overview of Thessaloniki
The bus and guided tour was a great way to get a basic overview of the area and the importance of the region in historical importance. The guide Vassilia provided an extremely positive display of knowledge for a younger tour guide. She answered every question with zeal and kept our attention.

Amazing authentic cooking experience
What a fabulous time we had with our hosts! Highly recommend this unique in-home experience with Michael, Dora and their family! The food was amazing and conversation even better. We have been on several in home cooking experiences and this one was the best!

Do this tour. You will be glad that you did.
This tour is well worth the long day. We were transported in comfort to Meteora with commentary along the journey about the locations we were passing through with history, legends and current interesting details. Good rest stops along the way with great views of Mount Olympus were a bonus. At Meteora our lovely guide gave good suggestions about how to enjoy the monasteries, and made sure we were all safe and sound. Then lunch at the restaurant on the way back was absolutely outstanding and good value given the great quality of the food and drinks served. It is a well run good value tour that I gladly recommend.

Get closer to the gods on Thessaloniki tours. You can climb Mt. Olympus, where ancient Greeks said Zeus and Hera ruled the human world, or explore Meteora, a complex of Eastern Orthodox monasteries that sit precariously on the top of stone monoliths. Whichever you choose, the city will be waiting for you when you get back. Perhaps a pub crawl or wine tasting will take the edge off the encounter with the spiritual—if not, some thermal baths will do the trick instead.
