OMG! Started out a little iffy but time tells. We had an incredible time and our driver is what made it all. He was so kind, so helpful and turned what we were unsure of to best tour yet. Beautiful experience, thermal baths that I liked a lot, our guide was very good, young, kind, professional, and super nice. In addition to the thermal baths in a very pleasant natural setting, with waterfalls next to the pools, we visited the Greek village of Orma with a lunch break, then saw Edessa, the city of waters, with its wonderful largest waterfall in all of Greece!😀

This tour is well worth the long day. We were transported in comfort to Meteora with commentary along the journey about the locations we were passing through with history, legends and current interesting details. Good rest stops along the way with great views of Mount Olympus were a bonus. At Meteora our lovely guide gave good suggestions about how to enjoy the monasteries, and made sure we were all safe and sound. Then lunch at the restaurant on the way back was absolutely outstanding and good value given the great quality of the food and drinks served. It is a well run good value tour that I gladly recommend.

Excellent walk in the footsteps of St Paul

Vasili was on time to pick us up at the hotel. If you stay in Thessaloniki it’s about an hour’s drive to the Ancient Phillipi. We chose not to have a licensed guide which was fine as an audio guide is free for walking the ruins. Afterwards we went to the Baptistery of St Lydia. This is an amazing chapel with paintings of St Paul’s acts as recorded in the Book of Acts. A must is getting the book in the gift shop as it explains both the ruins, the chapel and the importance of Kavala. After lunch in Kavala we went back to Thessaloniki. If you have any faith/religious beliefs/education this is a must on your journeys.

Nice tour. The "hiking" portion is pretty short, though it has a lot of steps up and down (only an issue if you have very poor fitness or mobility issues). The "lunch" activity was pretty late in the day so we ate lunch in Dion in the park and hiked a bit of the gorge while every one had lunch. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly

Absolute must see Meteora!

We had a marvelous day with Yannis! He has a wealth of knowledge about the area. We toured two of the five monasteries (though he was not allowed to go in with us as he is not licensed to guide here. Somewhat strange as we paid an extra $300 for a guided tour.) The monasteries are beautiful inside and out. The settings, high on the rocks, is amazing. Yannis then took us to a great restaurant for local food. We had a fantastic day!
