Had a very good trip!
Covered everything important with a guide that gave all the information we needed during it.
I didn't join the group lunch and ate in the free time instead.
Have time admit that I dont have anything bad to say. Really good!

Awesome day exploring some history and an excellent meal in Gori. Tori was our guide for the second time while visiting Georgia and did an excellent job explaining the history of the region and sites we were visiting. Really great value for your money as well would recommend this tour.

This tour is really action packed with so many great activities that range from archeological sights to history to architecture and culture. Shoti was a really great guide so knowledgeable about the subject matter and with a tremendous story telling gift. Zaza was an efficient driver who always got us there in the fastest and safest way possible. The Stalin Museum was really an incredible experience....the nature that surrounds Gori the mountains and the caves is so stunning and seeing a UNESCO certified church which contains the robe actually worn by Jesus is a once in a lifetime experience....great tour.... I'll never forget it.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you so much for this incredible and detailed review! 😊
We’re truly happy to hear the tour left such a strong impression — it’s exactly the kind of rich and diverse experience we aim to create.
It’s great to know you enjoyed everything from the fascinating Stalin Museum to the landscapes around Gori and the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe. And of course, visiting Svetitskhoveli Cathedral — a UNESCO-listed site believed to house Christ’s robe — truly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Shoti will be absolutely delighted to hear your kind words! His storytelling and deep knowledge really bring these places to life. And we’re also glad you felt safe and comfortable with Zaza — that’s a big part of the experience.
Thank you again for sharing this and for the recommendation — we’d love to welcome you back for more unforgettable journeys in Georgia! 🇬🇪

Great day trip to see the caves, Stalin Museum and 20th century Georgian Orthodox Churches. We especially loved the guided tour of the Stalin Museum by our guide Tako. She was knowledgeable and added important commentary that the museum did not address on Stalins life and rule.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback! 😊
We’re really happy you enjoyed the mix of sites — it’s a fascinating journey through very different layers of Georgia’s history 🙌
Tako will be especially glad to hear this. She always aims to give deeper context and share perspectives beyond what’s presented, so it’s great to know that added value to your experience ✨
Thank you again, and we’d love to host you on another tour soon! 🇬🇪💛
Vidyuth_A, Mar 2026
Probably one of the best tours we've been on. Such a unique and cool experience visiting the cave complex of Uplistsikhe, the Stalin Museum in Gori (if you're with an English guide you obviously get a more nuanced and far more balanced view of the man even though the surroundings very clearly tries to paint him in a positive light), and ending with the stunning Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery in Mtshketa. And let's not forget the fantastic lunch at the aptly named Cafe Joseph in Gori. Toko was ab incredible guide - his stories were apt and clear, and he was a true well of information. Highly, highly recommend!
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you so much for such an incredible and detailed review! 🙏😊
We’re truly happy to hear that this was one of the best tours you’ve been on — that means a lot to us 💛 The mix of places like Uplistsikhe, Gori, and Mtskheta really does create a unique journey through different layers of Georgia’s history, and we’re glad you appreciated that balance.
You described the experience at the Stalin Museum perfectly — we always aim to present a more nuanced and informative perspective, and it’s great to know that came through.
Toko will be especially happy to hear your kind words — being called a “well of information” is probably the best compliment a guide can receive 😊
And of course, we’re glad you enjoyed the lunch as well — it’s always a highlight of the day!
Thank you again for the high recommendation, and we’d love to welcome you back for more unforgettable experiences in Georgia! ✨

Luka is the best guide ever - he knows so much about Georgian history and theology and has a great sense of humor as well. Luka is very passionate about Georgia, recommended great music and restaurants/food. This is a can’t miss in Tbilisi!!
Response from Host, Mar 2026

We’re truly happy to hear that Luka made such a strong impression — his knowledge of history and theology, combined with his humor and passion for Georgia, is exactly what makes his tours so special 💛
It’s great to know you also enjoyed his recommendations — good music and food are a big part of the Georgian experience after all 😉
Thank you for calling it a “can’t miss” — that really means a lot to us. We’d love to welcome you back anytime for more unforgettable moments in Tbilisi and beyond! ✨

I just am completing two weeks in Armenia and Georgia with day trips almost every day and this was by far my favorite! First, the sights themselves are awesome! The tour was made even better by our knowledgeable, passionate guide Aliana (spelling?). She was so full of life and even sang as we visited the caves! I especially liked that the entire tour was in English. Our driver Misha(?) was excellent too. Don’t miss this tour - the definite highlight of my entire trip!
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Wow — thank you so much for such an amazing review! 🤍 We’re beyond happy this was your favorite tour of the whole trip! Aliana will be thrilled to hear your kind words (and yes, she truly brings the caves to life! 🎶). Big thanks from Misha as well! We’re so glad you enjoyed the sights and the full English experience. Hope to see you again in Georgia!
JOAOAENDER_C, Feb 2026
If the road to Kazbegi happens to be closed, be prepared to lose the rest of your day in a boring ski resort, just looking for people skiing for hours. This is not publicly informed, and I would have never booked this tour if I knew about this.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
However, your review has been posted under the wrong tour. This is the Gori tour, while your comment clearly refers to the Kazbegi route, which is a completely different itinerary.
Regarding the situation mentioned, road closures toward Kazbegi are occasional and beyond our control. We always inform guests about such possibilities in advance through reminders and offer the option to change the date, switch the tour, or cancel with a full refund.
We kindly ask you to place your review under the correct tour, as in its current form, it is misleading for travelers considering the Gori experience.
Nick_P, Jan 2026
Well coordinated tour with lots of information about what we were seeing. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn more about Georgian culture and meet new people on the way.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you so much for your kind review 😊
We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed how well coordinated the tour was and appreciated all the information along the way.
It’s great to know the experience helped you learn more about Georgian culture and also connect with new people — that’s exactly what we love about our tours.
Thank you for the recommendation, and we hope to see you again in Georgia 🇬🇪✨

Our guide, Nini, was knowledgeable and friendly, and the transportation was comfortable. Overall, it’s a great option for seeing key landmarks near Tbilisi in a short time. Highly recommended.
Response from Host, Jan 2026

Metroman(our guide) is an amazing guide and historian. He took us to these amazing places and they became more interesting with the history lessons he taught about those places. Strongly recommend this one to have modern perspective about these interesting town and places.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you so much for the great feedback! 😊 We’re thrilled to hear Metroman’s knowledge and passion for history made the places come alive for you. It’s wonderful that his perspective helped you see these towns and sites in a deeper, more modern context. Thank you for the strong recommendation — we’d be happy to welcome you again!
SilviaMatilda_A, Jan 2026
This was one of our favourite trips in Georgia. The highlight for us was the first stop: the Uplistsikhe Caves. It is a unique location, given its longstanding history dating back to the Iron Age. It shows how humans are able to adapt to any conditions and make the best of what they are given. The caves are a fascinating mix of mystery, human ingenuity, and stunning views.
At the next stop, we actually opted out of the Stalin Museum tour, as we were given some free time to explore the city. We decided to visit the Gori Fortress instead, a medieval stronghold that offers an eagle-eye view of the city of Gori and its surroundings. It’s a great spot for taking panoramic photos and simply enjoying the scenery. Because of this, we believe it should be better developed and visually enhanced for tourism purposes.
Despite the weather doing its best to dampen the experience at the final two stops, we thoroughly enjoyed visiting Jvari Church and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Both are UNESCO World Heritage Sites and beautifully illustrate the development of religion and architecture in Georgia from the 6th century through the early Middle Ages.
Our tour guide was very helpful and provided a wealth of information about the various places we visited, which definitely enhanced the overall experience. We would highly recommend this trip.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you very much for such a detailed and insightful review 😊 We’re delighted to hear this was one of your favorite trips in Georgia. Uplistsikhe truly is a special place, and we’re glad its history and atmosphere made such an impression. Great choice exploring Gori Fortress as well — the views are indeed fantastic. Even with the weather challenges, it’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed Jvari and Svetitskhoveli. Thank you for appreciating the guide’s knowledge and for highly recommending the tour. We’d love to welcome you again!

Paada was funny and informative. Great tour, and the driver, Griorgi, was good too. Tour started at 7am, ended at 11pm (16hrs)
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Thank you so much for your review! 🌟
We’re really glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and that Paata brought the perfect mix of fun and information to the day — he’ll be happy to hear your kind words. And Giorgi will appreciate the shout-out too; long days like this require a calm, reliable driver, and he always does a great job.
It was a full 16-hour adventure, starting bright and early at 7am, so we’re especially happy to know you still had a great experience throughout the day.
Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to see you back in Georgia for more journeys! 🇬🇪❤️

Niko, our guide, is a very knowledgeable, calm, good guy. Great for conversation and filled us with a great amount of information. Just a good dude. You can tell that he quietly has a passion for history, which, if you're booking this tour, you would as well. The amount of history on this your is incredible.
Our driver, George, was prompt but safe. Got us where we needed to be, when needed, but safely. Well done.
Response from Host, Dec 2025

He is exactly as you described — calm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about history in that quiet, humble way that makes every conversation meaningful. It’s wonderful to know that his style matched perfectly with what you were looking for.
We’re also happy that George made you feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. Being prompt yet careful is a balance we truly value, especially on longer routes.

The places we saw, from the Uplistsikhe cave city to the Stalin museum in Gori were very interesting and some astonishing beautiful.
Our guide, Dimitri, was well prepared about the history of Sakartvelo, knew a lot of facts and legends about it, and was very helpful answering all of our doubts about the organization and the places we were visiting.
The driver was very skilled and secure, and we never felt unsafe despite of the traffic.

Highly recommend this tour for any history buffs it takes you on a journey from an ancient Georgian city to the more modern Stalin museum. Our tour guide demetri was outstanding and full of knowledge. He kept the group entertained while showing his knowledge in his field. There is an option to have food in Gori which was very good and would recommend it for people looking for the full Georgian experience.

It is a very interesting tour, and in our opinion you can’t skip it if your coming to Georgia. We visited the Cavetown, monastery and we chose the option to have lunch with the group, which was delicious and we recommend it as you also get to spend more time with the group. Omar was our driver and he made us feel safe at all times and Maria was our guide, she is very knowledgeable and friendly. I don’t know if we were lucky or it was organized like this, but somehow we were always the first ones to arrive at the sites, and so they weren’t crowded at all. We had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend it!
Response from Host, Oct 2025
That’s such a beautiful review — thank you so much! 🌿 We’re thrilled you had such an amazing experience and enjoyed the perfect mix of history, culture, and great company. Maria and Omar will be so happy to hear your kind words — they truly make a great team! It’s wonderful that everything went smoothly and you got to enjoy the sites without the crowds. We really appreciate your warm recommendation ❤️

Ian_P, Sep 2025
Amazing day with sites that exhilerate. Terrific guide who was knowledgeable and responsive. The lunch however was disastrous. Needed to order 1 hour in advance, arrived at the restaurant. Table laden with food which was stone cold. Also a rip off . We refused to stay. Too many comfortable backhanders methinks!
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you so much for your honest feedback! 🌟 We’re delighted you enjoyed the sights and that your guide’s knowledge and responsiveness made the day so special. 💛 We’re truly sorry, however, about your disappointing lunch experience — cold food and lack of value are not the standards we aim for, and your concerns about organization are very important to us. 🙏 We’ll review this with our partners to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We really appreciate your input and hope to welcome you back for a smoother, all-around excellent experience in Georgia. 🇬🇪✨
Brian_S, Sep 2025
I won't lie, I was apprehensive about doing this tour because of recent bad experiences with group tours, but these places are really challenging to reach without a private car, so this ended up being the right decision. We got lucky and had a great group and guide. One important thing I need to note however, is they send you a message to be at the meeting point at 8:30 and that the tour leaves at 9:00. I thought, "IDK why we need to be there THAT early, but okay, they said 8:30 so 8:30." Get there at 8:30. The tour did NOT leave at 9:00. It left at 8:40.
Aside from THAT, it was very well organized. We started with the furthest places, then worked our way back towards Tbilisi, which ended up being there. It got a little weird in Gori, because I guess the food place isn't in the city center, so if you're not choosing the free time, they drive you there, then drive you back, but everyone in our group opted for the free time in Gori. It wasn't a whole lot, but enough to grab some fast food and see some extra sites. I feel we could have been shown a bit more things in Mtskheta, but for the highlights, the free time we were given was enough.
Our guide, Nene was wonderful! Great personality and so knowledgeable and engaging. The Stalin Museum especially, I feel wouldn't have been as interesting without the guide's commentary.
I don't really know what else to say. The sites, especially the Cave City and monasteries look so much better in person. Even if you've been to Cappadocia, you will still be impressed by the cave city, as it's very different.
So yeah, take this tour! Best tour I took in Georgia!
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you so much for your detailed feedback and for sharing your experience! 🧡 We’re really glad you enjoyed the tour and that Nene made it so engaging and memorable.
About the early departure — sometimes, when all the guests arrive a bit earlier, we’re able to start the tour before the scheduled time. This actually helps everyone win some extra time during the day, so the trip feels more comfortable and less rushed at the stops. We truly appreciate your understanding and your note, and we’ll make sure to communicate this more clearly in the future.
Thanks again for your kind words and recommendation — it means a lot to us, and we’d love to welcome you back to Georgia anytime! 🌿✨
Caroline_L, Sep 2025
All the sights were amazing, and it wasnt too long on the bus. I opted for free time in Gori (went to the fortress) instead of the set lunch. Those that went to the lunch said it was delicious and plentiful!
The guide Shoti did a grand job herding our group and keeping us on schedule.
Recommended this tour!
Response from Host, Sep 2025
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! 🧡 We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the sights and that the balance of travel time felt just right. Great choice to explore the fortress in Gori, and it’s wonderful that those who went to lunch also had a delicious experience. Shoti will be so happy to know his guiding and care for the group made the day smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to Georgia again! 🌿

Loved our guide and the experience.
Lots of walking.
Only con: there was a lot of dead time in Gori. The museum is a must see!
