Luka is a very friendly and flexible guide who is tailoring his style to your needs. The wine tasting was just superb! Luka also can suggest some really good places for the best Georgian food for a reasonable price.

Our tour guide was very sweet and showed us a lot of the best spots around central Tbilisi. She was very inquisitive about us and our lives in America and had a wide range of knowledge about a lot of places in the world, so conversation was easy and natural. The info she gave on the tour was all interesting and ranged from ancient history to current events. Also, the place she took us for wine tasting was very cool and unique - we decided to go back and buy a bottle of wine to drink on the rooftop patio after the tour was over. This is a great tour of Tbilisi that you should do soon after arrival to get a lay of the land and great recommendations for food and activities for the remainder of your stay.

Madloba (Thank you) for your wonderful and detailed review!
I am so happy to hear that your tour felt like a natural conversation with a friend rather than just a history lesson. We truly enjoy connecting with our guests, and I am glad our guide could share both our ancient history and modern life while learning about your time in America.
It puts a huge smile on my face to hear that you went back to the wine tasting spot to enjoy the rooftop! That is exactly the kind of local experience we hope to provide—showing you places you will want to return to on your own. Thank you for recommending us as the best way to start a trip to Tbilisi.
We hope to see you in Georgia again one day!
Best regards,
Lela

You are absolutely right—a great guide truly makes all the difference, and I am so happy Mariam could enhance your experience. Her advice about taking the cable car at 7:30 PM is spot on; the views of the city during that golden hour are truly magical, and I am glad you trusted her suggestion!
I will be sure to share your lovely comments about her knowledge and kindness with her. It will mean a lot to her.

Awesome trip. Best to do in the morning or evening in the summer as it’s warm. Was a brilliant introduction to Georgian history and Tbilisi. Absolutely recommend Luka and this trip.
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Madloba (Thank you) for your awesome feedback!
You give excellent advice about the timing—Tbilisi summers can indeed get quite warm, so exploring in the cooler morning or evening hours allows you to enjoy the city much more comfortably. I am glad you found the right time to enjoy the walk!
I am thrilled that this tour served as a brilliant introduction to our history and our capital. I will be sure to pass your strong recommendation on to Luka; he will be very happy to know he helped start your trip on such a high note.
We hope to welcome you back to Georgia soon!
Best regards,
Lela
