I would really recommend other tour operators than viator. This is my second experience in a different country.
1. We booked english tour. It was specifically mentioned on the ticket. But the guide started speaking in Russian. It was a mixed crowd, viator smartly out everyone in one group. A fellow english group literally had to threaten then to also speak in english or drop them and issue a refund.
2. They took us for lunch a designated place which meant nobody can grab a bite from another resturant. The food was stale and over priced. Order was taken on book with 12% service charge. No receipt was given. There were 3 other couples sitting with us on the same table. Nobody could eat the food as it was either stale or meat wasn't cooked properly. As expected, we had food poisoning the next day. Something, you wouldn't want during a vacation.
3. Kazbegi experience which was so hyper up was the worst.
Don't waste your time and money on viator.

A nice tour with some stunning locations. Our guide Omar was excellent very knowledgable and friendly without been invasive all the time. He gave us a lot of information during the tour which was many hours and some personal suggestions for restaurants and markets in Tbilisi.
Also there are enough stops for food and bathrooms.

It’s very interesting either many things to see. But have in mind that you’ll return tired enough to go straight to your hotel and also that in the mountains it can get really cold!!!!

Staff need to communicate better with visitors at the meeting point. The stops were very beautiful and interesting, and our guide Mamouk was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Stop times were more then enough. The tour was a quite long and exhausting though, and we got stuck in construction traffic. I think 9:00 departure time is too late. You don't get back to Tbilisi 'til like 10. By the end of the tour, everyone was exhausted, especially since the bus isn't very comfortable, and wanted to be dropped off close to their hotel.
Something to note, the tour doesn't actually stop at or even mention the Travertines, which was the main reason I booked this tour over others, though it wasn't really a big deal, as I've seen travertine terraces before, but this should be removed from the itinerary, as there is no 20 minute stop here. Also, the "jeep" to the Gergeti church is more like a rickety van, and I was disappointed that it didn't stop at the most iconic viewpoint, where you can see the church with the mountains in the background.
My biggest complaint however, which is really the only reason for the 1 star deduction, is the lunch stop. The restaurant they took us too was absolutely horrible! Staff was grumpy, service was slow and the food was overpriced and awful! Between our entire group, 4 different dishes were ordered, and not one person who ate had anything good to say about their food. Everyone barely touched their food and was still hungry after the lunch stop. No one said anything to the guide, but amongst ourselves, we were talking.
All that being said, I think the price is a bargain for what they show you, though I thought the mountains here weren't as scenic as in Svaneti.

I really enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, especially the stops at Ananuri Castle and Gergeti Trinity Church with the mountains in the background. The guide, Timur was friendly and knowledgeable, which made the long day feel engaging, really liked the local legends and myth stories. It is a long tour, around 12 hours so be prepared. Still, it was a great way to see a lot in one day. Solid 4/5.

There are numerous stops - all breathtaking. The journey from one point to another was, for the most part, picturesque. However, given the packed itinerary, we felt rushed by the driver that provided the roundtrip ride to Gergeti Trinity Church.

The trip was amazing. But the tour guide Omar, was definitely lacking enthusiasm.
Was it worth the money? Yes absolutely. Just I wish we had tour guide who is more enthusiastic and more fluent in English. Our guide Omar, was seen more comfortable in Russian. He was mostly engaged with Russian speakers.
Apart from that, the trip was perfectly organized. Timings were adequate for us to explore the locations, take pictures, have quick toilet breaks, or have lunch in the middle.

Very poor experience!!! we started at 9am and the didn’t stop for food untill 5pm moreover they didn’t let us have the food that we brought in the vehicle. we were starving!!! Everything was time restricted they didn’t give us time to sit and enjoy the amazing nature. Everything was in Rush!! It was like a school excursion with strict guide

A packed trip with plenty to see. Our guide was knowledgeable and explained everything clearly.
The only small downside was that lunch took quite a while, as we had to wait for other tour groups to finish their wine degustation before our food came.
Kazbegi, though, is gorgeous.
Tips: Dress warmly, and if you're prone to motion sickness, bring some medication.
