5 stops along Cabot Trail. Only 4 of us in a mini van. Several restroom stops, sandwich shop and pullovers to take pictures

Great tour, tour guide very informative, beautiful fall colors. But, we thought we signed up for 4 hour tour, found out from tour guide it was a 6 hour tour. Made us a little nervous since traveling by cruise ship. Was back in plenty of time.

Listing: The listing is not accurate. We did not stop at some of the locations. They did not provide water as indicated. There was not clear communication about what time to meet.
Tour company: If you can call it a tour company. They are a taxi service that also uses their vehicles for tours. We discovered as leaving the port that they are not licensed to drive the Cabot Trail. The vehicles are very cramped for three people sitting in the bench seats.
Tour: The driver/tour guide provided little information along the way. While pleasant, he recently moved to the area and did not have the knowledge I expected on a tour. We almost got into two accidents. The itinerary was not well defined as to how long we would have at each stop although the driver was flexible.

From our experience, I would say it was not worth it. Driver did not adhere to the itinerary, we sat in the back of the minivan and between the road noise and the drivers accent we couldn’t hear anything. On a positive note, the fall colors were beautiful.

Driver was there when we got off the ship. We picked up one other couple at a hotel. We had a nice drive on the Cabot trail. Driver was very friendly and drove safe, however if you were in the back it was hard to hear him with the highway noise and accent. We took the ferry and stopped at several lookouts and a few other stops like a chocolate shop and local restaurant. So glad we decided to take this excursion! Definitely just the right amount of time to experience the Cabot trail with time after to see the city, shop and and taste the lobster. I would definitely do it again! Don't hesitate! Worth the money and time! Nice to be more one on one and not a huge tour bus!

We had stopped in Sydney as part of a cruise, and had arranged this "mini-Cabot" excursion independently because it seemed like a good idea for our group of extended family.
First of all, the staff and service were fine... no real complaints. They were responsive and prompt.
The problem is that this is really just a long taxi ride. Our main stops were a few roadside viewpoints, a bathroom at the local cultural college (which was mildly interesting, tbh), a chocolate shop, and a bakery. We had hoped to see more of the Cabot Trail, but there's really no way to appreciate the Cabot Trail in such a short time frame. It did pique my interest into maybe coming back and exploring this region and the full Cabot Trail on my own. But just don't be duped into thinking that you'll see much on a 4-hr out-and-back drive.

Our guide had very little information and we could not hear anything he said. We learned nothing about the area. Worst private tour we’ve ever taken.

Hello Sydcoast cruize tour team.
It was a very nice, relaxed and individual tour with TJ as a very friendly and polite guide and 4 visitors. We see a lot and we enjoy.
Friendly locas, beginning indian summer, sunshine, water, big canadian nature, slow down and recognize, that nature do not need us 😁.
Thank's for all, take care of yourself, maybe till next visit in Sydney N.S.
