Great experience. Each class is small - 5 people. I had never surfed before and my coach, Jesse, was able to tailor his feedback and adjust on the fly what I needed to do. For those who have never surfed before like me, expect to learn a lot and get in a lot of reps in a short period of time.

If you’re an experienced paddler or looking for a workout, you might want to message the guide and arrange for a separate session. If there are other less experienced paddlers in the group you’ll paddle less but it’s still a great time being on the water. It’s a lovely area and Matt shares a great deal of history. He’s super knowledgeable and a great kayak instructor. I enjoyed this experience a lot and took time after to visit the Fish Market which is next door! Don’t miss it!

This was good fun! If you aren’t used to kayaking it isn’t the easiest so bear this in mind and do a 2 seater one if you can to share the task. Went to some lovely spots and finished with the Q station. Hannah, our guide, was friendly and knowledgable! She provided us with a nice drink and little cake snack on one of the beaches which was well received! The kids were a bit tired so we opted for a boat ride back and the lady who drove the boat gave us some lovely information on other beaches we could walk to after the tour for the afternoon. This was a lovely suggestion! Thank you!
