Top St Lucia Hiking Tours

This was such an amazing experience! Laura our guide was so full of knowledge history/present day and made the day one we will not forget. Ryan was our driver and handled the mountainsides like a champ!! We also encountered more help for our group from Kye and Wycleaf and they were equally as wonderful. I read ALL the reviews, the bad ones twice and became unsure after booking because my luck warrants a bad experience. I am so glad I didn't let it ruin my trip. I went in with a positive attitude full of hope and was anything but disappointed. You must understand that anywhere you are trying to get to on this island demands a bit of time in a vehicle so when people complain about being on the bus for a period of time I just have to say make friends with your bus mates, and I hope all the guides are as great as Laura because she made the time in the bus as enjoyable as our outside excursion. We got a full history lesson which we definitely appreciated, we stopped at multiple lookouts for photo ops/drinks/souvenirs, we snorkeled at sugar beach, soaked in the mineral mud baths, rinsed ourselves in the cold but refreshing Toraille waterfall, rode a speed boat to view a bat cave and the Pitons, had a local lunch which was devine all while enjoying drinks and conversations with people from around the world. Communication was on point! I received an email with pick up time and location along with what I needed to bring (towel, water shoes, etc). They arrived early and excited to show us their little slice of heaven. This was a full day and we were exhausted by the end but completely satisfied! We booked prior to arrival and had zero issues. We really enjoyed this full-day catamaran cruise with Sea Spray Cruises. The tour offered a great mix of sightseeing, sailing, and stops on land. We sailed past the Pitons and several beautiful bays before arriving in Soufriere, where we took a van to Toraille Waterfall and the Sulphur Springs. The crew was extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful throughout the day, both on the catamaran and each destination, offering to take photos for everyone (big shout outs to Vernon & Troy). The bar selection was somewhat limited, but the staff worked constantly to ensure everyone had a drink in hand--whether it was water, soda, rum punch, or beer. There was certainly no shortage of refills! The buffet lunch was also good, although the stop felt a little rushed. My only recommendation for improvement would be the onboard sound system. A crew member pointed out landmarks and shared information as we sailed, but the microphone wasn't loud enough to hear clearly from every part of the catamaran. I felt like we missed some of the context about what we were seeing and passing. It also would have been fun to have the music turned up during the quieter portions of the cruise to create more of a lively atmosphere. Overall, it was a fun, well-organized day and a great way to experience several of St. Lucia's highlights.

This is a really great tour and we had a fantastic time, it was the right combination of adventure and experience for our family - the oldest of which was 94 and the youngest 4. Our tour guide was amazing, especially with the kids (they loved her), we rode in a 4x4, learned about the rainforest as we hiked through to the waterfall (sturdy shoes that you don’t mind wading through streams are recommended), and visited Anse La Raye on the way back and learned more about the fishing village (with a chance for a break at the beach and to pick up some souvenirs). Snacks and drinks were included too. Highly recommended.
