A cliff divides it in two, with the west side housing the beach area and the east side the town center. The drive continues down to Ravello, where we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant overlooking the coast. Ravello owed its prosperity to extensive commerce throughout the Mediterranean and to its strong textile industry.
