We take you on a solemn journey through the key landmarks of the Battle of Uhud — a place where faith, courage, and sacrifice shaped the early Muslim community. The tour begins at Masjid al-Mustarah, where the Prophet ﷺ rested, and continues to Masjid al-Dira‘, where he ﷺ put on his noble armor. You then visit Masjid al-Fash, before heading toward the majestic Mount Uhud, the mountain that “loves us and we love it.” The journey includes Archers’ Hill (Mount al-Rumah), the strategic point where the archers stood, offering a powerful reminder of obedience and consequence. It concludes at the Cemetery of the Martyrs of Uhud, where Hamzah رضي الله عنه and the honored martyrs rest, embodying the highest meanings of loyalty and sacrifice. The tour also includes Masjid al-Qiblatayn, where the Qiblah was divinely changed — linking Uhud with another defining moment in Islamic history.

We start our tour of Riyadh by visiting the primary custodian of the Saudi national heritage and culture, the National Museum. Today it is a place of learning and discovery that hosts a unique collection of artefacts and covers the whole history of the Arabian Peninsula up to the modern era. After this, we continue to the nearby Murrabba Palace that used to be the royal residence where King Abdulaziz hosted his court. The palace was named after its square 40 by 40 meters shape and is now one of the city’s major museums. Adjacent to the palace, a modern building hosts a collection of King Abdulaziz’s personal items that we will briefly tour. These places are at the heart of the birth of the Saudi nation. We will take you to the heritage sites around Tabuk and the Red Sea, tell you what the local bedouins believe about these sites as well as the conclusions we've reached so far based on the ongoing research we and others have performed in the region.

Today we begin our Makkah Ziarah tour with a visit to Jabal Al Rahmah or Mount of Mercy located in Arafat. It is the site where Prophet Muhammad delivered his final sermon. Pilgrims gather here on the 9th of Dhu’al Hijjah during Hajj, spending the day in prayer and supplication. We then pass by Mina, the world’s largest tented city with a capacity of up to 3 million people. Mina is where pilgrims stay during Hajj and where Prophet Ibrahim was commanded to sacrifice his son Ismail. After Mina, we head towards Jabal Al Nour, also known as the Mountain of Light. It is located about two miles from the Ka’bah and is home to the Cave of Hira, a small cave where Prophet Muhammad received the first revelation of the Holy Quran in the month of Ramadan in 610 CE. This moment marked the beginning of the prophethood. We will reflect on the spiritual significance of each site before returning to the hotel.
