I have had the best time on this tour. My guide Tamay was amazing. She taught me so much about local life and their culture. We stopped at many stunning viewpoints but the highlight of the day was meeting other women (as well as Tamay) from the Red Dzao tribe. We were met with the warmest welcome, invited into their home and taught about the traditional medicines, herbal baths and how they live their daily lives. Back by lunch time - it was the perfect length.

A Glimpse into the life of ethnic Red Dao

We enjoyed a unique experience in this 4 hrs tour by our guide May. A truly off the beaten track type of experience, taking in the scenes of yellow paddy fields amongst the misty mountains. The views would have been amazing but it drizzles a little and the mountains were covered with clouds. Our guide May invited us to her house and we get to experience first hand the warmth, perseverance, and strong sense of community of the Vietnamese people. It was a worthwhile trip.

Our time on the tour was very fun! We visited many picturesque spots that were not bombarded by other tours, and our tour guide Tamay was very knowledgeable. The walk through the rice fields was very nice as well.

A Wonderful and Relaxing Jeep Tour

We have a relaxing and wonderful time with our tour guide Mr Vang and Mr driver. It is nice to ride on open top jeep slowing so that you can see everything clearly with fresh air coming to your face. You can view 360 degree and take lovely pictures during the tour. We are only 2 on the jeep and we are not a fast walker so we only manage to visit 1 village. It would be great if we can have more time to see the other village. Our riding time is about 1.5 hr to the village then we walked about 1 hr, then we have about 1-1.5hrs back to the town center. It is recommend for those cannot walk too long as most of the time you just see on the jeep and view the mountains. Our tour guide Mr Vang is nice and professional and we have asked about questions of the people living in the village and we have some good talk. Our driver is also professional as it is not easy to drive the jeep as it is slow and you need to be very careful when passing the road esp after the huge typhoon. We sincerely hope the people living in Sapa recover soon and stay safe. We are happy to recommend this Jeep tour to everyone. Thank you so much and hope to see you all again. All the best!
