Epic. Wanted an authentic experience, which can be hard to find in tourist areas, or booking on these sites. This experience delivered. Met at an old estate, cooked in an old kitchen, with a local Italian lady, using old school tools & it was just us two w the broken english italian lady. Prepared and cooked on white honed marble, made pasta, meat, and dessert. Was fun and dinner in the garden overlooking Tuscany was beautiful!

Luca was the perfect host. He allowed for hands-on with the dogs, with the truffles and being able to hike through the woods of Tuscany. I love to cook but, given the shortage of truffles in the United States, I can't say I ever really understood the flavors or anything about them other than what I had seen on TV, so I wanted to get up close and personal with them. This tour was the perfect tour for me, and my wife, who just tagged along, had a great time as well. We ended with lunch at the restaurant with wine tasting, local fare and plenty of dishes served with truffles so I really got a good taste. It was a really great opportunity to see how it all works up close as well as taste lots and lots of truffles to the point that I understand them now and can picture the flavor whenever I see them on some of my favorite cooking programs. I can say that the mystery has been removed for me.

People should realize the UNESCO town of San Giminano is amazing and much more involved then we had realized. Our guide (whom we do not have her name) was able to give us so much history of the town and interesting facts. We would definately use her again.The buildings were incredible with the type of architecture that was used. A tour not to be missed.
