Emil was an excellent tour guide. This tour gives the best of Riga in a short amount of time. You get to hear about Riga’s history and see the highlights of the old town and the amazing art nouveau area of Riga! Amazing!!
Good tour with a very good guide. The tour was carefully prepared
and the highlights to be presented properly choosen. The transport by taxi made it possible to access the individual points easily. the number of participants (7) was close to perfect.
Had a wonderful day ! Riga is definitely one of my favourite cities ! Bus transport really welcome to limit the step count !
Prompt pickup at the cruise port. The tour guide spoke excellent English and knew the history of Gdansk. We walked through the old town where she talked about the architecture and events that occurred in the war. Very informative
Richard/Richard was fantastic. His command of the history of Rigor was so clear, funny as appropriate and with depth our group enjoyed. He was engaging with the small group and easily handled our questions .
Emils provided us with lots of interesting historical and cultural information about Latvia. The walking was easy, as Latvia is very flat, but you do need to watchful on the cobblestones. Afterwards we had extra time to explore the old town before walking back to our ship.
Tour was wonderful and our guide was one of the best. Loved Riga and the depth of our guide’s knowledge plus his sense of humor made our day very enjoyable.

This tour is an excellent way to experience Riga. A great variety of sights and stories. Our guide Emils was fantastic. He made our tour personalized by being accommodating.
The advertising for this excursion was deceptive. It was called a “private” tour with a driver. We got there met the guide Rita and were told there were 20 people on the waiting bus. We were very upset about this but we t on with the guide. She was excellent. Just know up front this is what you’re getting for your “private” tour in Riga

Safe travels.
This is a walking tour through old town learning about architecture of the buildings in the city.. Lots of cobblestones throughout. Not much time for exploring on your own and shopping.. good part was that it picks you up and drop off at the cruise terminal. If you want more adventure choose a different tour.

Please note that the “Additional Information” section of the tour description clearly states that this tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not recommended for guests with limited walking ability, as Old Riga is a pedestrian-only area.

We got an incredible overview of do many areas. Our guide Rita was passionate and so very well informed. It was also a course on Art Nuveau architecture.
