We had a fantastic time on the Husky Dog Sledding Tour from Riga! A huge shout-out to Ilze and her team, who did an absolutely amazing job and made us feel welcome right away.
Even though there was no snow, the ride on wheels was still a lot of fun – exciting, well organized, and a great experience with the huskies. The dogs were full of energy and clearly very well taken care of.
What we especially appreciated was how flexible the team was with pickup and drop-off, which made the whole trip super easy and stress-free for our group. Overall, a great experience that we can highly recommend. We’d do it again anytime!

We were picked up near our accommodation and then we were off! After a hearty greeting from the dogs, we were offered homemade tea and "Black Balsam," which definitely helped keep us warm. A short introduction and then we were allowed to drive. It was a fantastic experience driving through the snow-covered forest! The short snow hike also gave us a view of Latvia.

Just over an hours travel from Riga, picked up from our hotel. No snow but that wasn’t a problem we rode on a cart. There were 10 of us each couple got to ride their own cart but only one cart. The dogs were amazing and I can reassuringly say not mistreated or exploited. This family use their dogs to enter competitions. The keen ones get to pull and the ones that are having an off day just stay with the pack. Lots of conversation with the wife while the husband follows you on a bike for safety. To be honest the dogs know what they are doing I just held the handle bar to keep the wheel straight. Mulled wine and Riga’s ‘Covonia’ shots kept us warm. Lots of stroking of the beautiful friendly huskies. GREAT FUN THANK YOU

We had an amazing experience with the Huskys!
The trip started with our tour guide, Jans, picking us up from our hotel and driving us into the forest. We met the wonderful team and the gorgeous Huskeys and got to meet them and play with them before the ride started. It was an incredible experience and so picturesque as we are riding through the forests!
We finished the ride with a mulled wine and gingerbread biscuits, and even bought a souvenir.
Then, Jans took us to a little village with a winery and did a mini-wine tasting experience all of wines made locally.
An absolutely amazing day! Thoroughly enjoyed!

We upgraded to the longer trip which I would recommend. Private tour up to the national park with very friendly dogs and hosts followed by a village tour and local wine tasting. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.

This was really a super fun activity! Our tourguide Jans arrived at our hotel exactly on time and it was a 40-minute drive to the Husky spot. We had to wait a bit long before it was our turn so put on very warm clothes but it was nice to see and pet the many huskies. The sled ride with the dogs is quite short, about 15 minutes but it is definitely long enough and super fun to do. The dogs go really fast, there are 6 and in between we drank some tea and ate some cookies. Afterwards we took a nice walk to a view tower.
Jans sent us a very nice video of our trip afterwards. Recommended, this tour
