The way to travel from Riga to Vilnius

We had a wonderful experience touring with Martins. He arrived right on time to pick us up from our hotel in Riga, and since we had already traveled with him from Tallinn to Riga on a previous trip, we knew we were in great hands. The entire day was smooth, enjoyable, and filled with interesting conversations. We visited Bauska Castle and Rundale Palace, spending extra time at Rundale because there’s simply so much to see. For lunch, Martins took us to an excellent spot serving authentic Lithuanian food — the wait was a bit long, but the meal was worth it. Our final stop was the Hill of Crosses before heading to our hotel in Vilnius. Although the day ended up running a couple of hours longer due to unavoidable circumstances, Martins handled everything professionally and with a smile. His patience, flexibility, and warm personality made the long day feel easy. Highly recommended.

Excellent tour of all locations with a good guide

This was an excellent tour in a mini-van. We had a small group of 8 which worked well throughout the tour. The tour guide and driver, Tom, was excellent and demonstrated good knowledge of the history and background of all three locations we visited. We had plenty of time at each location to explore and photograph. The tour took the whole day but this was necessary to see all that we wanted to and needed to see. Good value for money.

Would highly recommend to...

Would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Riga who wants to learn about Latvian food! Our guide was so nice and explained not only the significance of the foods we were trying, but she also pointed out other foods and explained how Latvians cooked with them and which foods they ate in which seasons.

The tour is a fantastic way to visit three sites and not have to worry about how to get from one place to the next. The guide/driver Krista provided excellent information so that I could thoroughly enjoy the visits. In addition she was welcoming and a lovely person to be with. It was a long but satisfying day.

We absolutely loved our walking tour in Riga!

We absolutely loved our walking tour in Riga! Our guide made the Old Town feel magical, full of stories, charm, and little hidden details we never would have discovered on our own. From the beautiful Town Hall Square to the stunning churches and cozy streets, every stop felt special because of the way she brought the history to life. We especially loved hearing the unbelievable story about St. Peter’s Church and learning why the flowers in Livu Square are always blue — those little details made the tour feel so personal and memorable. And of course, the adorable Cat House was one of our favorite moments! Finding the famous cat and hearing the funny story behind it made us smile the entire day. It’s those charming touches that made this tour stand out so much. Our guide was warm, knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about Riga. She also gave wonderful local tips at the end of the tour that made the rest of our stay even better. Thank you for such a lovely experience and for making us fall in love with Riga. We will remember this tour very fondly!

Had a fantastic day on this tour. Norman was a brilliant guide and ensured the day ran at a perfect speed with no rushing. He recommended a beautiful restaurant for lunch to try the local Lithuanian cuisine which was lovely. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone and would jump at the chance to do another tour with Norman.
